In the past even in the great escape season we might have had a slither of hope we'd get some result.....now we literally have none

Anyone remember when people were posting after we finished 5th for the second season in a row that unless Rodgers got us in the top 4 the following season he should be sacked 😅😅😅😅 oh how far we have fallen.

I have to say I'm a little disappointed with what we've become. I know it's not Ruuds fault but I did think he'd get more out of the players than he has. I thought we'd see more effort and determination but I feel we're seeing less. We all said Cooper had lost the dressing room yet I'm not seeing anything from the players to suggest anything has changed. We can all argue whether we start Choudhury or Justin, Faes or Vestergaard, Coady or Okoli, Winks or Soumare, Ayew or Mavididi but to be honest I'm starting to come to the conclusion that they are all as equally crap as each other just in different ways

I think deep down we all know where this season is headed. You look at the table and try and think which teams are worse than us and sadly other than Ipswich and Soton there aren't any. Those in and around us (Wolves, Everton, Palace) are all comfortably better sides than we are. As we enter into the Jan transfer window I think we have to be pragmatic here and question the sense in throwing good money after bad and potentially setting ourselves up for financial ruin and a hefty points deduction. I'm not saying we don't look at full backs and maybe another winger but apart from that we really need to be sensible here and ask ourselves is it worth throwing more money at what is ever increasingly looking like a lost cause Next season we have reason to be hopeful with Fattawu back....Daka starting....Bilal, Okoli will do well in the Championship and get Stolarcyzk back in goal. This is just my thoughts....we're not flush...we are already sailing close to the wind re FFP so does it make sense to jeopardize the next 4-5 seasons just for this?

I go back to my main point here.....why was a Cooper Out thread allowed to start before the season had even begun?

For the record 2 Ruud out threads were started and the deleted by Admin because they didn't fit the narrative. We are a mess and need to accept that Ruud might not be the man to fix this mess.

Not really....the Cooper out thread started even before a ball was kicked this season...there were always 2 threads....one about him as a manager and his tactics and the other which was a deliberate campaign to get him out. Ruud has a couple started and they are deleted. I'm sorry but if people feel he was the wrong man at the wrong time for the job they should be allowed to express it no matter how early in his tenure that performance today (which he is partly responsible for) was nothing short of a a disgrace to the name of our club
