  1. Had veal liver tonight. I like tripe and tongue, it's popular in Italy and Bulgaria where I've lived, but not here unfortunately. Had brain in Bulgaria but even I had to draw the line there.
  2. I really like offal. Not sure how different that is
  3. I agree but people are talking about finishing 2nd like it'd be a 2019/20 type collapse, when really it's still pretty tight
  4. We've started incredibly and I think we'll go up with games to spare but people need to chillout with the breaking records stuff. We could've lost last night and there will be bumps on the road. 2nd would be wonderful.
  5. If Ipswich win their two games in hand they're be 2 points behind us. It wouldn't be bottling it at all.
  6. Quite surprised at some of these posts tbh
  7. If we end up in the playoffs from this position then we will have bottled it, and we won't win them.
  8. With all due respect this is a very very daft post. The prize for 1st and 2nd is exactly the same in the championship.
  9. Lovely beer. It's the North Norfolk malt, best in the world.
  10. Taps the sign
  11. Yeah I meant more that Oxford Circus is pretty central in terms of tube connections and then a short hop to White City.
  12. I think they were the only two who weren't playing regularly when I started watching around 95
  13. 23/25 - didn't get the Boro or Cov player
  14. Football is very important in my life and I hate what's happened to it in this country. But there's not much I can do about it so meh
  15. The strong dislike I have towards some clubs is probably more a manifestation of the dislike I have towards modern football in general. Those things exist to a great extent with Leicester too but at least go alongside the other stuff we still love about the game - the fan community, history, nostalgia, family, being invested in the result. Having said that I do genuinely hate the arrogance and entitlement of the big six, exemplified by ex United and Liverpool players turned pundits on TV every week scouting players their clubs should be buying, as if they have a divine right to any player they want. I honestly don't know what I'd do if we were bought out by the Saudi state like Newcastle. I like to think I'd give it up but it would be very difficult.
  16. I imagine there'll be something of a pile-on on Purdy, which is unfair. But debatable whether he's good enough to guide a team to a championship. Chiefs know how to win it, they'll do it again I'm sure.
  17. Imagine not hating the 'Big Six'
  18. It's going to be the Chiefs again isn't it. Everyone else flattering to deceive.
  19. This is like something I'd read about happening in 11th century Europe. Incredibly dark day
  20. Glad to hear the Nelson is doing well. It went downhill and then closed but I'd heard they were reopening soon. Do they still have the bar behind the corner shop style counter? Holkham in this weather sounds... bracing
  21. Spaff Jizz Job Done
  22. With g/d 13 points
  23. White city is like 10 mins from Oxford circus and Wood Lane 15 from Euston so I reckon a pub round there would be a better bet
  24. Easier to buy two tickets in other clubs home sections than it is to buy two for the King Power, despite the fact I have membership. Very annoying.
  25. Nelson country! That stretch of the coast is nice. Holkham bay is spectacular and Holme is also one of my favorite beaches. Some good pubs and beer around - they've been malting round there since Roman times. And if you're into ecclesiastical history Burnham Deepdale church has one of my favorite Norman fonts, and Burnham Norton church is also lovely. Blickling - home of the Boleyns - is not that far away either. Holkham Hall is closer and owned by the Earls of Leicester but I'm not sure if they're fans...
