Because we can't do it in person. I have a theory that the hyper-toxicity of Anglosphere online discourse is partially due to the fact people in our culture try very hard to avoid conflict in person, and will often avoid controversial topics. Twitter at al are relief valves.
Muzzy Izzet likes a post saying "9/11, while tragic, is a logical consequence of the America's heavy handed foreign policy in the Middle East" and instantly gets released for being a religious fundamentalist
Had a feeling it was that. Seen and heard it quite a lot recently. For what it's worth I think a lot of people use it without really understanding what it implies.
I don't think that's true. Understanding basic football tactics and roles doesn't necessarily need great intelligence.
Ok I've never met the guy and I wish him well but he seems a bit odd at least
Atlanta currently being the 4th seed in the NFC says it all
Although I guess that's more a reflection of the NFC south weakness than the competitiveness of the league
Horror after horror coming out of Israel and Palestine. That's on top of what's happening in Ukraine. And videos of Jews being hunted down in the Caucasus. Don't think I've ever been more pessimistic and depressed.
I don't know. Only watched it once briefly because frankly I don't want to watch it anymore than that, and if a similar coming together had happened in a different context then I could understand some people thinking he deliberately kicked his foot out. I've never ice skated though.
I always found Friends enjoyable and quite funny. And I enjoy it now as a relic of a time period that certainly seems a lot more fun than the 2020s. And I can't really understand why people feel the need to tell us they find some film/TV show/ album shit just after the death of someone associated with it.
Sorry only just seen this. Checked with them on the Monday and they said they would, and said "if it's televised we'll be showing it". So hopefully that means in the future they'll have it on.
Will probably head down there for the Leeds game.
Also ended up getting a ticket in the QPR end. SA road upper. Will probably drink somewhere around Holborn and get the central line in if anybody fancies a pint.
