Birmingham 2-1 LCFC, post-match thread
bovril replied to Phil Mitchell's topic in Leicester City Forum
Have been to two away games in the last 12 months and came away genuinely depressed from both for all the reasons mentioned above and more. It's almost surrealy bad at times. To the point where I am genuinely considering trying to go all in on a foreign or English non league club and **** Leicester off. But alas a man can change anything about himself but never his childhood club... -
Charming

Finally a right winger apologising for the unprecedented increase in immigration that happened under the Conservatives! Kudos to you.
-
Yeah we're down. 10 years after the league title. Humiliation.
-
It's a very unattractive place with an undercurrent of aggression but that's like a lot of cities in England.
-
Final game of the season is exactly 10 years since Hazard. How humiliating this will be.
-
I assume you've just found the birds off the telly thread

As Sampson says it's a strategy, and it works well unfortunately.

I think this is probably like 80% of religious people, especially in Europe
-
I hear religion is a good strategy for that.
-
I always think that's a reason to be cheerful.

Real Betis appear to have Danny Ward in goal

Thanks for the reply. We perhaps naively thought she wasn't a British national yet because she didn't have the documentation. But it seems reading the official websites she's counted as a UK citizen not only through me but also her mum who had settled status when she was born. The important thing from what I've read is that this will not be totally enforced until February 25th and the government are advising dual nationals who don't have UK passports to continue to use their other passport to enter until then.

Breakfasts are what I miss the most from living there, for which my Italian friends think I'm mental. But a long coffee and pastry just hits different man. Goated breakfast.

No I probably said the opposite 😂 I love Italian pizzerias but they need to be in non descript housing blocks on the outskirts of town, if you go to a posh one in the historic centre it'll probably be underwhelming. Spanish food is maybe my favourite in Europe because they are happy to experiment more. I do love Italian food but the whole 'omg nonna would never make it like this' is very cringey and boring. They have great produce though especially in the south. Fruit and veg in Sicily is unmatched. And superb cakes and desserts in the north.

I remember a cross (to call it a cross is to do it a disservice) he put right on Muzzy's head in a 2-1 win against Chelsea in 2001. Probably the best ball I'd seen a Leicester player play up to that point. Sumptuous. Muzzy missed though...

I think simply the internet has for the first time ever allowed us to constantly spread and advance our beliefs in public, and to do it instantly, and it becomes impossible to resist. We are all guilty I guess.

always surprised at the willingness of people to beclown themselves on the internet in the aftermath of an incident like this

There is even a 'Miss Mortadella' competition. You don't get this kind of nonsense down south.
-
Sicily in places has a similar feel to Malta in its architecture, people, food and even some of its language. Same Arab influence. West coast of Sicily is amazing especially with your own transport. Palermo is fun but a bit spoiled now, amazing historic sights though.

Best Italian food is far down south, fresh fruit, veg and fish. Bologna is nice but very... cheesy and porky? I mean they even have a festival for mortadella which let's be honest is crap.
