Completely agree.. depends who he has advising him I guess and what his opinions are of others careers that are starting after leaving us young like the other lad that's at Liverpool Personally I think he'll go and with the shape of the club at the moment, I couldn't blame him. I'd always thought if I was good enough to be a pro I'd fancy myself as being a one club player here... but how it appears from the outside now.. I'd jump ship in a heartbeat
-
I'd like someone with similar attributes to that Smith lad at Wrexham. Strong, decent in the air, bullies defenders and has an engine. We don't need someone whose technically gifted, just someone who ain't afraid to get stuck in and literally force the ball in to the net. Same if we were to go up. First seasons about staying up, nothing else and you need solid players for that
-
At least let us nurture him for a year with an immediate loan please.. isn't going to be needed there next season is he

Meeting old players in the Championship

I can see him landing at somewhere like Birmingham as a back up to Stansfield. They'll be able to offer a decent wage and will be in the market for a few has beens -
Vesty yes, but Wilfs value is low now so someone in La Liga will offer him a contract. Soumare will leave for either a small fee or we will loan him to get his wages gone for the final year... but yes, Vesty is here for life. With regards to Riccy, it's time he left too. Too many injuries, when fit he's unbelievable but it's at the point now where it's hampering us having a squad place not being utilised and at a higher salary
-
Ain't there anymore from the school of Pep waiting to start a career from Man City? In all honesty.. I've no idea who I'd like in charge.. but what I do know is, I want someone new to come in to a massively depleted squad so we can start completely fresh
-
I see Mrs Vardys trying to get the media frenzy going already liking Mr Reynolds Instagram post for fulltime at Wrexham. Out of all the options it makes the most sense. Use Wrexhams US profile to bolster an interest in his netflix doc etc.. plus all the extra money he can earn in sponsorships through them.. for me though I'd hate to see that, because it's not footballing reasons but you can't fault him he's learnt it. Just sod off abroad please Opinion on the post.. bit of both. Probably been contract fishing just in case, then we've probably not offered him any contract, even a massively reduced one and told him we need to move forward without him.. which we do
-
Possibility of loaning him and having his wages covered, but on the proviso he's sent back to us as soon as injured? So maybe a month
-
Exactly that.. he ain't interested other than flexing his wealth and showing it off to his friends Enjoyed watching their rise.. good to see something positive in football.. not naive, they've spent big money, sponsored everything in site etc but there is passion there.. right from the top.. it's contagious.. Our owner don't give a shit.. and frankly now.. whilst he's in charge.. neither do most fans
-
When you put it like that it ain't so bad. Until they smash us
-
Agree with this. Good to watch to be honest.. yea they've flung money at it.. but they're passionate and it's a properly connected club moving in one direction.. fair play
-
Does that make top the bottom ?
-
Listening to James McClean (who I despise) speak just reminds me of when we had a connected club from the owners, staff, players and fans.. absolutely like a broken jigsaw now with missing pieces. Fair play to what the owners of Wrexham have done. The Disney bus has gone.. surely someone from Channel 5 might fancy us 🤔
-
The way it's going in another decade we'd have done a complete swap
-
Thought he was 33 when he left us 🤣
-
Haha was literally just thinking this myself. Due a step up to this level now.. looked decent when I've seen him. Not bad and probably a market we should be shopping in . Doubt it would be the profile the club are looking at though
-
I'd imagine considering they've been promoted since the season kicked off they've got a few lined up
-
Free to watch on top of a van though 🤣
-
Yea I'd like Oxford away, Wrexham for the atmosphere.. Derby, brum, baggies and stoke. At least it'll be proper grounds and hopefully more competitive football again
-
Most of the squads in the championship are average. 3 or 4 decent signings and they'll be in and around 6th to 10th
-
I keep forgetting how well Birmingham have done and their investment. Top 10 close to top 6 surely?
-
Matty James masterclass 4-1 Wrexham win 🤣
-
We are yes but there is some extra shit in the division so personally I'd save that tenner
-
Oh I agree.. I'm just saying you don't necessarily need it to get promoted.. but you will to stay up. Fatawu and Mavi if they stay fit will bag 10. Lacey could get around 10. Will sign a number 10 or two. But I'd like a proper striker, but someone with a physical presence too. Need it in the EPL.. be good to be able to go more direct and swing a cross in to someone that might win the header
