Really like what I've seen from Nelson, until today.. does he have a twin.. dreadful Been very lacklustre so far .. hamza and Thomas uninspiring, Nelson and Skipp turgid and kacey and Alves not involved yet. Almost like an early season league cup game 😂

Quite liked the look of their number 18 today.. cadematri was it? Strong, aggressive, won everything in the air .. skied his only shot though but certainly had a few attributes we could utilise Ideally rather more of a goal threat but with this kind of physicality though

Did a steady job. Pretty quiet game bar that save. Im happy to have him as number 1. Their keeper was made to look good. Everything was straight at him, even the two goals went in the middle of the net

Rather this than VAR All the refs make errors.. but when a computer takes half hour to make an incorrect decision it kills the game. I love renting at a ref for being useless.. the errors tend to level themselves each season

People just forget that players can give it back too. He got booed, even after scoring.. and I was one of them ill hold my hands up.. but the celebration made me laugh and I actually thought good on him

I was hoping to see hamza on for luke and JJ move to the left and Hamza the right myself.. however Marti made his subs and turned it around.so I ain't complaining. I liked how he did a lap of the pitch before the game rather than the usual walk to the centre circle too. It's a big if with Top and Rudkin.. but if they back him with a striker and a box to box, alongside replacements for Bilal and Abdul when they vacate, this could be a good fit with him here

Just got back from the game. A few negatives for me wer Way too slow moving the ball, more so first half .. lacking movement and ideas. Luke Thomas and Soumare i felt were poor, as was Skipp. But more positives. El Khannous and Fatawu were simply fantastic (shame they'll both be off). 3 points to start the season off with. Minutes for Monga and looked decent. Manager made changes at the right times and they worked. Ayews work rate is brilliant, just needs to find the net Keep scraping wins until the window shuts and see what we have then, but a decent start and I do like this manager.

If we come out this window not too depleted then top 4s a given. Just depends who else leaves. If both Bilal and Abdul go we absolutely have to find like for likes, alongside a box to box mid that can score. We do that we'll be close to the top 2 regardless of a.deduction.
