  1. Nah won't be either of them two. He wants to keep scoring goals he said himself. He can go abroad and start and score in the states.. or go to Como and get a good 30mins a game with the odd start and experience something different which is where I think he will go. The Wrexham link makes business sense but I just don't see him doing that, especially considering it would likely be to a team playing against us... but I do get the glamour story, especially if he did help them get promoted to the EPL as they're golden boy Mullin is surplus to requirements it would really get Vardys name out there in Hollywood for his story.. but my monies on Como, states as back up
  2. Could end up somewhere in the states.. but the ownership experience didn't go well for him though. Club folded and he lost his investment
  3. Yea I've been saying it for weeks.. wise is the CEO. They're all in that vodka business together. She's always skiing in the Alps .. just makes sense. Plus it's just a nice place in general
  4. Absolutely no chance of Saudi. Both he and his wife would be walking on eggshells.. US or Italy
  5. As in he'll always be a fan of the club. Probably be a frequent visitor when he does retire.
  6. Yea. I just think it's a club that has money, they have friends out there so easier to settle.. nearer the mountains where his wife's off to every other week skiing. Clubs on the up and it looks a lot nicer an environment than Leicester 🤣 If he goes there I'm buying their shirt
  7. Imagine... haha Give it Evans if we don't bring someone quality in
  8. Not a chance. The only way he'd go to a none top flight club, especially that could be in the same division is if he went to Sheffield Wednesday. I reckon he'll go abroad.. I'd have a flutter on it being Como in series A.. on the up, rich owners and his mates the CEO. But wouldn't be surprised to see him land in the states somewhere.
  9. Wasn't going to bother going to another game this season, but I'll be there now to watch him bang in a 90th minute penalty Thinking about it, two poor relegated teams second last match of the season.. should be fun to be honest
  10. Helped us win the league, win the fa Cup, qf of the champions league. Could've left for a bigger club and stayed Probably one of the most loyal players we've ever had considering where he could've gone.. give him a break and send him off with your best wishes. I hope he goes abroad.. as I've said before I could see him settling somewhere like Como.. but he may fancy the US and the money... would hurt to see him play elsewhere in England though
  11. Absolute legend, but I think this could finally be the start of the rebuild we need. My bet is if he don't get some massive lucrative offer, then I reckon he'll go and play for Como in series A for his mate Dennis. His wife's off skiing every other weekend so it'll suit her more being nearer to it all too. Be a nice place to see out his career at a club on the up. All the best Vards, thanks for everything
  12. I'd be happy with Kone, and it's a realistic option. Haven't seen much of any the others to comment.. in Rudkin we trus......
  13. Yes very true.. yoyo it is then 🤣 This window has to be about shipping the dead wood and attitudes from the squad and replacing them with younger players with potential you'd hope. Ipswich should keep hold of most of their squad.. boss the championship, with one or two acquisitions and a couple years as a squad will be in a better position to stay up. Might have to be a 3 year plan for us to build a squad to stay up, but obviously go up and down within that period whilst strengthening maybe
  14. Exactly that..strong characters, but ideally south of 30 in age the lot of them. Glad you don't mean more Coadys.. doesn't just lack footballing ability but comes across as a rat to me that would chuck his team mates under the bus at a drop of a hat. He's the sort of rubbish player that keeps talking a big game and thinking he's inspirational but all his teammates just look at him thinking STFU you're crap
  15. Yes I forgot Yunus, quite liked him to be honest. I agree if Enzo was here they'd probably suited better and we'd have faired better. Maybe not bridging the 18 point deficit completely but certainly been nearer. I think the bulk of the squad as it is will be in and around the top six, I just hope that we can ship a load of dead wood and rebuild the spine.
  16. To an extent yes. Although we only really signed top end championship players with no real marketable value didn't we.. apart from Mads. He will go at a profit, but other than that we signed Cannon who went for what we paid, stuck with Winks and Coady on high wages and Mavididi has yet to be consistently decent.. Abdul looks a find just a shame how this season panned out for him. So I only think the last one seemed a success because this seasons one was so poor. Doyle and Casadei failed to wow too thinking about it
  17. At least if he came here he'd be used to the situation then
  18. If it doesn't absolutely cripple us financially then I'd much rather 2 or 3 years rebuilding in the championship, developing a squad of players through the academy and signings from the lower leagues... rather than the inevitable yoyoing for the foreseeable
  19. He'll sign a one or two year contract with them. Wouldn't be objective to him coming here though
  20. In a worse position this time than last financially I'd have thought. Last time we sold Madders and Barnes for a cut price 80/85million didn't we? Surely we won't get anywhere near that this time. Hermansen and Bilal could fetch 45million between the two of them. After that, we could offload bouba, hamza, wilf, Winks, faes, victor for small fees in the region of 20-25m collectively. The only shining light being a load of money off the wage bill I don't see much being put up for permanent transfers. Loans with an option is where we will be shopping
  21. Yes my first choice would be Okoli and Nelson, I just don't see Okoli staying when he's been around the Italy squad this season. Loan to serie A I think. Whilst I'd marginally prefer Coadys ability over Vesty, I cannot stand Coady. He's done nothing since he's been here, except for hold up the Enzo we miss you card and talk how he thinks the fans want him to talk. To me he comes across as a bit of a brown nosing rat whose too influential around the younger lads.. needs to hang up his boots
  22. Hopefully. If they're on an average of 50k each, would be very useful to get 200k a week gone off the wages.. plus Vardy and Faes
  23. I wouldn't bother messing about with the flanks. Although they aren't setting the world alight we're solid enough at both wing and wing back on both sides. We need a major overhaul of the squad but it does no good to be changing everything at once either. A completely new spine running through the centre of the existing wide options would be useful. Sell Mads.. jakub to number one, new back up needed. Centre backs a mess. Coady and Vesty we are stuck with. Get a small fee for Faes. Souttar is supposedly out until near xmas isnt he? Nelson has to start. I can see Okoli forcing a loan at the very least to keep himself in and around the Italian squad with a world cup coming. Might have to be a loan from the premier league to play alongside Nelson with the two old guys as back up until Souttar is fit enough to play.. i cannot see where we get the funds from to buy a new centre back We need to get rid of wilf, Winks, bouba and hamza and bring in a couple options to play alongside Skipp, plus promote an academy player. Don't give Vardy a new contract, stuck with Patson. Bring in a new forward and give them game time, without the pressure of knowing Vardy will just walk in to the team as soon as you have a bad game. Love Vards but it's not healthy to keep him around imo New manager Alves, Monga (if he stays), Evans, Aluko etc to be given proper game time.
  24. I think 25m would be fair. Has the potential to get to the 40m mark in a year or two, but hasn't been consistently very good. Looks like the sort of player that'd end up at West Ham, starring for a couple months and then drifting in and out of form. Would be happy to hold on to him, but at the same time wouldn't be bothered to lose him either
  25. I missed that one on Bouba being in his final year. If we start next season with only Skipp left out of that five (shipping Winks, wilf, bouba and hamza) I'd be happy with that. Could probably shift them all for about 10-12m in return. My only issue is realistically would they want to leave their more than likely lucrative contracts here for a lesser one elsewhere. Can't fault them if they decide to sit their final year or so out
