I'm a little bit more confident with Vestergaard back in the line-up. Midfield and attackers are the issue. Their cumulative return nears 0. Has a draw written all over it. Unless Daka, Mavididi, Fatawu and Winks finally start to show up together during a game. So far, they've more or less only played for themselves.

Yakubu was already in the prime of his career, and scored half as many goals as Daka has up until today – in less than half a season. Daka's not even half the footballer Yakubu was.

With James unlikely back in the first team, it's looking bleak. Our home form is abysmal: Since the turn of the year, the record reads W2 D1 L5. I expect more huffing and puffing, somehow scoring a goal here or there, taking a lead, then squandering it – or more or less unsuccessfully trying to play catch-up after going behind. Players seemingly still haven't realized we're in a relegation dogfight – or they simply don't care. Either way, when's that attitude going to change?
