  1. Pray to God James is back in the first team (and staying healthy until the end of the season). Otherwise, we'll see five more Sheffield Wednesday away match performances. More huffing and puffing, somehow scoring a goal here or there, taking a lead, then squandering it – or more or less unsuccessfully trying to play catch-up after going behind.
  2. Heard good things about The Pitt. Is it worth watching?
  3. Attitude-wise, they definitely are. I can live with the odd defeat here and there, as long as we actually put up a fight and win at least two. Then again…
  4. We're only starting to play well once we go behind. Happened too many times this season already, Monday's game was just the latest example.. Attitude is completely wrong. The majority of these players aren't in it for the club, they're in it for themselves. And we're on our fourth manager in as little as two years to fix this. Six, if you include Dawson and King.
  5. Somebody else said it in another thread: When Vichai died, so did the club (slowly, but surely). Top hasn't been able to follow in his father's footsteps at all. And that ineptitude trickles down to all levels (of management) below. There's not an ounce of life left in this club. All the excitement and joy after the PL title has been sucked out of it. The FA Cup win was an aberration. What remains is a brittle, lifeless corpse.
  6. The club management better have a League One contingency plan at hand – and signings lined up as soon as the season's over and relegation confirmed. But then again, with our recent transfer track record... Because if it were me, we'd get rid of 75 to 80 percent of this team. Faes will we gone for good (finally), as will Daka (who never lived up to the hype, bar four goals against Spartak). El Khannouss won't come back (good), as does Coulibaly (good). Skipp (massive letdown), Mavididi (massive letdown), Winks (because of his tantrums; also another letdown), Fatawu (steep drop in performance, head is someplace else; hopefully for a ton of money), Ayew (attitude and performance on the whole), Ricardo (age; retiring in Portugal), Okoli, De Cordova-Reid (performance), Choudhury, Kristiansen can all go. Can't wait to see the back of them. Why we signed Vieites, I'll never know. Whomever thought these players would take us places should be declared legally insane and put in a mental hospital. Provided he wants to stay and remains fit, build a team around Lascelles – alongside Vestergaard, Nelson and/or Souttar. I'd also keep Thomas. Despite all his flaws, there's a decent defender in there. Build from the back.
  7. They're all must-win games. But knowing our beloved LCFC first team, it's probably going to go this way: Leicester 1-1 Swansea Pompey 1-1 Leicester Leicester 2-3 Hull (after being 2-0 up) Leicester 0-2 Millwall Blackburn 2-1 Leicester Which will see us relegated.
  8. I agree, he's been very bad as of late. The amount of lacklustre, aimless passes are worrying. It started when he was more and more caught out of position as a RB, playing somewhere in the middle instead. Thanks for all the memories, Ricardo. But you are no captain material (any longer). Finish your career in Portugal, where the season isn't as tough as it is in the Championship.
  9. Jordan James. Abdul Fatawu has gone missing since coming back from injury. VERY subdued performances as of late. 1 goal and 0 assists in the past 8 matches. #tanking
  10. Hmm.. With each passing game, Skipp deserves his nomination...
  11. The Wednesday have won 1 game all season, had lost all of their games bar one since January 1st, conceded 81 goals before today. Daka just came off a brace for us. Yes, I was one of those who expected us to win this comfortably. But just when you think this team can't embarrass itself any more, it does just that.
  12. Thing is, if it hadn't been for their keeper and our woeful finishing, we'd have won by two goals (or more).
  13. Congratulations to Lincoln City for their first return to the 2nd tier in 65 years!
  14. Who'd have thought Jordan Ayew would be the best player in a Leicester shirt at full-time? The lack of urgency in this team is appalling. Only started really pushing forward with their backs against the wall. Swansea (h) Must-win Portsmouth (a) Must-win Hull (h) Must-win Millwall (h) Must-win Blackburn (a) Must-win No pressure.
  15. Ayew plays like a possessed man. Shame the keeper is even more possessed.
  16. And where was the walking aid??
  17. If the league had 23 teams, then yes.
  18. Wednesday goalkeeper is having the game of his life.
  19. 20 to 25 minutes to somehow save face, lads.
  20. Ayew couldn't believe... he touched the ball.
  21. Ayew will tear you apart. (in your dreams) (That probably sounds dirtier than it should)
