What are the odds of us conceding within the first two minutes of play?

Mavididi starting again... yikes. De Cordova-Reid has been very underwhelming in recent weeks, too. Both of these don't deserve a starting spot. But I guess it's experience first, youth later, eh? At least Rowett has noticed that the combination of Winks and Skipp doesn't work. Choudhury, though... They all better put in a stellar performance today. This is also about their future.

You‘ll need something stronger than that. I‘d recommend Absinth, as it helps you forget. 👀

Respect where respect is due, Coventry may have not been the best team in the Championship this season, but at least the most consistent. Their fans, no matter how few there are remaining, must rejoice the fact that the 25-year long suffering is finally over. Patience is a virtue, eh? It's going to be very interesting how they cope in the Premier League – and whether Lampard will want to stay. Could see him succeed Rosenior at Chelsea. Now imagine MIllwall in the top flight.

Penn Derby! Pens all the way. As long as Crosby stays healthy. Will have to wait until next season for him to break through the 1800-point barrier, though.

Wouldn't that also mean that Skipp would have to adapt his style of play when paired with Winks? I don't rate Winks much, but it always takes two to tango.

Well, if I don't mention it, some people could come to the conclusion that I might be encouraging violence. Just had to point that out. Up until now, the players live in a cuckoo land, in a parallel universe, they don't live an ordinary life and obviously have no clue what earning a living actually means. They need a dose of reality.
-
What does Skipp offer exactly? 42 games in, and I'm still wondering. He doesn't contribute going forward, he shies away from tackles. He doesn't lead. He runs around a lot. £20m for that. Appalling. Whomever decided he was worth buying at that price – you're inept and the problem.

It's a ruse. You can't find Top because he isn't there.

LCFC 0-1 Swansea, post-match thread

Again, no leadership on the pitch. The only one that comes close to being a leader is the guy on loan from Rennes. Bound to be the next Gerrard. The rest? They're either past their prime (Ayew, Ricardo, BDCR) or shy away from taking responsibility and taking action. Winks, Skipp, Fatawu, Mavididi, Daka – they have nothing mature about them. They're kids imitating grown-ups. Just look at their physique. They sulk, they're selfish, ineffective, more a burden than problem-solvers, they don't move the team or the club forward. These five aforementioned attackers and midfielders have a combined 22 goals between them in 42 games, with 9 goals coming from Fatawu. So that makes 13 goals between the other four, also some of our most expensive players, in 42 matches. My guess is there's been a major rift in the dressing room for some time now. #toxic Look at the assists stats, hardly anyone wants to set up another first teamer: Again, after 42 matches, it reads as follows: Bilal El Khannouss (gone) 2 Wout Faes (will be gone) 1 Boubakary Soumaré (gone) 2 Louis Page 1 Jeremy Monga 2 Abdul Fatawu 6 (almost all of them in the first half of the season) Patson Daka 4 (will be gone) Jordan James 4 (will be gone) Harry Winks 2 (get out of my club) Jordan Ayew 3 (will be gone) Luke Thomas 5 Ricardo Pereira 1 (will be gone) Stephy Mavididi 1 (get out of my club) Bobby De Cordova-Reid 2 (get out of my club) Caleb Okoli 1 (get out of my club) Divine Mukasa 3 (will be gone) Ben Nelson 1 The fact that Mavididi, Winks, Skipp and BDCR in particular have as many or less assists as two players who are no longer part of this team, is shocking. As shocking as having your left-back providing more assists than Mavididi, Winks or Skipp combined... Skipp? 0 assists. Zero. #egotrip A young loanee (Mukasa) has been more effective than at least four of our so-called seasoned pros (attackers/midfielders)! Fatawu's assist contribution has also dried up since he's come back from injury. My conclusion: They don't want to play together, they're actively playing against each other. Some would call this sabotage. -

About time fans hold the players and the club management responsible. Peg them in after the Hull home game, don't let them leave in their fancy cars and force them to talk to the supporters outside the stadium, so the fans can vent their anger (without any fisticuffs, of course).
