  1. We won't stay up. We've won 1 (!) out of the last 12 matches. That is nothing but relegation form. And we've got only eight more matches to play, so that's maybe one more win. Which won't be enough, because Blackburn, West Brom and Oxford all show more heart and guile than our lot. The Great Escape in the Premier League was possible thanks to a shrewd manager, and players willing to fight for a common cause, proving everybody wrong that underdogs can achieve something. And boy, did we do that. This time around, we've got an overpaid bunch of unmotivated, careless, spoilt individuals (for most part) that care more about the paycheck than the shirt they're donning. Mercenaries, that's all they are. It says a lot about our recruitment strategy and attitudes in general when our most dominant senior player and our most dominant youngster are both loanees. Imagine where we'd be without James or Mukasa. They're pretty much putting everybody else to shame.
  2. Let's face it, the management and the manager(s) simply don't have an eye for good defenders. That's the issue. Faes was the main culprit in that constellation. He's gone to Monaco and continues to be a bombscare (occasionally). As for Vestergaard, even injured now, he's scored more goals than Mavididi, Winks, Skipp, Monga, Ricardo, Okoli or Nelson.
  3. In general, he's done rather well for us this season. Yesterday, however, we probably saw one of his worst games ever. Got caught completely napping for the equalizer (somehow switched off for a second, or was it the sun?), then the own goal. Yes, he's young, yes he can only get better. This season, under these circumstances, he better hurry up, though.
  4. Clueless Gutless Spineless Hopeless Our first team in a nutshell.
  5. Stop giving your money to a dead franchise, seek enjoyment and excitement someplace else. This club doesn't deserve its fans.
  6. Apparently, they still haven't realized we're in a relegation dogfight. Delusional, the lot of them (with only a few exceptions). Deserved loss, braindead defending once again, failing to score a second, conceding an equalizer just before half-time broke our neck. If you can't get the basics right, you deserve to get relegated.
  7. Our stadium looks so peaceful, half-empty.
  8. Mavididi... just call it quits. You've got your best years behind you.
  9. 30+ minutes to go, still potentially two goals incoming... For QPR.
  10. No manager can save this team collection of individuals. We're doomed.
  11. That's it. 3-1 QPR Another shocking day at the KP. Stuck in the relegation zone.
  12. Ben Nelson, from hero to zero in a few days. 2-1 QPR.
  13. Back four was already in the break. Shocking defending. No excusing that.
  14. AAAND... another clean sheet gone...
  15. Just having a go at it. Well done, James! Top scorer with ten goals now.
  16. Credit where credit is due – last night, Oliver Skipp put a shift in. Still, I expect a bit more getting stuck in for a defensive midfielder, ankle-biter style. Instead of relying on Choudhury for the cheap foul.
  17. A win, that'll breed much-needed confidence First win under Rowett Clean sheet (penalty saved) Fatawu scores again Nelson with his first goal James back in the starting lineup (and with an assist) One league final down, nine to go. Negatives from tonight: Ayew, Daka and De Cordova-Reid (assist aside) useless once again, at least Mavididi tried and got close, nearly scoring a goal. And Bristol City were pretty much awful throughout the entire game.
  18. Fatawu working for two to three tonight. Just can't score another.
  19. I forgot Daka even existed.
  20. Stolarczyk, you beauty. Saved.
  21. Great to see us expand on a 2-0 lead. Nelson gives a penalty away. Silly pull.
  22. Fatawu still up for it. Shame it was way off target.
  23. Some would say it's his hair. Maybe it's Maybelline.
  24. i stand corrected: We only have the third-worst defensive record in the Championship this season, after the Wednesday and QPR.
  25. Last time we led by two goals or more at half-time was at home, against Saints... Just saying.
