  1. Well exactly - how can clubs with less revenue continually post better financial results? Decision making. Well Manchester United and Chelsea went complete over his head on the Fofana and Maguire deals. Whelan had to come in for the negotiations. Rudkin also sat down with the agents of both Bowen and Olise - both came away miffed and signed elsewhere.
  2. Salopian have started this too now. Stuff like 'Badger climbs through the back garden window'.
  3. Sold out as well!
  4. Just looked at Cooper’s stats in the PL and that’s why it’s no for me Played 55 Won 12 Drawn 16 Lost 27 Points total of 52 Thats 0.94 per game - equalling out to a 36 point season which won’t be enough for next season. 55 games is a decent barometer too
  5. Not many and that wasn’t my point. However there are lots of clubs which are our size what have gone through the success we have and they have made very, very tidy profits. Top’s decision making has exacerbated our financial losses which in turn has led to a points deduction. His insistence on keeping Rudkin - so one of those fine examples. A man whom certain clubs and agents (eg potential signings) won’t deal with him or give the time of day.
  6. Your belief if you want to choose what echo chamber you want to sit in.
  7. Football moves quick. Training ground is old news. Promotion expected by nearly everyone in the game. Stadium expansion has been there for five years with no realisation. Construction costs near 35% increase in that period Kept squad together - what squad? Last summer there was four major departures. Every indication someone has to be sold by 30th June. Clubs were circling in January for a bargain deal That’s before we mention the forthcoming points deduction.
  8. @Foxes_Trustwas there any alterations to the sub groups and board following the existing members of these groups also undertaking the skills matrix ?
  9. Those two sentences are related. Ie. Top’s decisions = a loss making football club People won’t be quite aware but we are increasingly becoming a running joke in football circles by others. A tale in mismanagement
  10. Not a lot in terms of visiting places. Coalville aren’t having to do trips to Shropshire. Obvs miss out on trips to Leicestershire. Bilston is a very good ground for the level. A fair few groundshares Coalville’s league has lots of clubs which have a history relating to local industry, so normally good clubhouses. Probably done very well out of the travelling despite only one Leics club
  11. Click on link on front page, Step 6 division placings - United Counties League Div 1
  12. Is he coming with Martin O’Neill like last time? After all you have email contact with the main man Top
  13. Yeah he’s life president / treasurer
  14. His contract for four different roles must be the length of the Old Testament
  15. I dunno. It caused quite a large issue in the last week of January when Rudkin went off for Top’s wedding.
  16. Yeah my bad - hoodwinked by a post I saw on a Facebook group.
  17. Ran Sutton Fun Run on Sunday. It's effectively a huge park run type on behalf of charities. This means chaos at the start line however. 8.5 miles though and one hell of a course with dips and rises, even for the average road runner. Cardiac Hill is a 4.8% climb at four miles. With the hot weather and 11am start, it was a tough task but it did mean absolutely great crowds. It's got my thirst back for another half. Considered Oxford but it's full already and don't know if I can be arsed for the efforts of running for charity.
  18. Hope they haven't lost their FA Cup place as a result. Going to be tough this season to keep momentum going with no possibility of promotion. A few lads from the Under 21/23s playing in the first team - player signed with an eye to improve and then get the skeleton together for the eventual tilt next season. Hopefully the game v Saffron falls on a good date
  19. Neil breathes a sigh of relief that the notice on his second bedroom isn’t going in
  20. Cooper drinks Madri so it’s no from me
  21. I’d have more respect if Jon’s disappearing acts were him on holiday with the wife and the kids. Not holding his boss pisser when he nips to the loo.
  22. Would be excellent news
  23. Really good result. Loughborough Dynamo going down to the Leics Senior League !
