Sadly on Premier Sports here. Can't believe that Sky will pick up AFCON but not this

Sad to hear Paul Holleran has had to step down in the interim at Leamington due to a cancer operation.

Club playing fcuking games to save face again on comms. Shameless - Anthony Smugface should get a job in politics

Speaks volumes though that not even Liverpool with their demand are stretching to £72

On a serious note, he’d move back to Sweden with his missus after the Chelsea job. She had a business there when he was at Osterstuds and can’t be sure but they may have kids who were educated there. Additionally he lost both his parents just before taking the Chelsea job which on a human level probably explains the sabbatical.

Game of the tournament this so far. Although laughing my head off at the Southampton flag in the Georgia end -
The delay in manager appointment here is slightly bizarre given there’s been far more time to prepare for a replacement
-
I get the delay on manager etc. But i can’t remember a time when details about pre season and a new shirt have been left so late. Complete goal of revealing your shirt in early June was get people wearing it for their summer holidays and then leave another space for everyone to buy the away shirt in August, Feels weirdly contemptible

Worth noting November 9th - Manchester United away - likely to be a Sunday due to Conference League participation January 25th - Tottenham Hotspur away - likely to be a Sunday due to Europa League participation

If anyone ever wants a quick park run, Long Eaton is silly flat and definitely the most well organised I've been too. Ran 23:25 which 3rd all-time but will defo have another go around there sometime. -
Same patterns as always - the algorithms they use throw up similar fixtures so often.

The 60 minutes after we played twenty yards deeper, conceded a load of space, went into a mode of smashing the ball long. Until the subs, we were defending on our 18 yard line. -
You can pretty much predict the pattern given fixtures in previous years. Man City, Liverpool, Everton and Ipswich around Christmas Two London away trips in August and early September. Southampton is normally early as well Villa always pop up Jan/Feb

Best summary I read is that game was very England 2006 to 2016 rather than England 2018+ Played with fear rather than ambition -

I’ve watched a season of similar stuff - too deep allowing an opposition half chances from clearances, a manager who does subs too late and can’t effect a game. At least we had Hermansen to actually pick a pass, Pickford just lumps it -

We’ve dropped about twenty yards deeper after scoring the goal. Can afford to go high against these with their strikeforce. -
Atalanta with a 25k capacity stadium winning the Europa League and repeated good performance in the league. Clever transfer workings, having a clear method of operation, good youth system, whilst off the pitch making sure your city is totally behind your club with various engagement schemes and develop the stadium. As it stands we have no legacy of the glory years to build our revenue. It’s a huge missed opportunity.
