  1. Financially, he's a failure - dead asset. His inactivity season means he's lost any value he had. He becomes a Praet. Quality questionable for PL. Wages too much at any other level.
  2. Be largely irrelevant. Under the context of FFP, you have to view the financial performance of the club over three years. In that period, they've completely ****ed up. This season is a financial black hole - which now sits against the club for a three year period. The failure to get rid of players is going to hurt very badly.
  3. Yes and no. On the whole, 2023/24 as a whole was the second largest transfer fees spent since the windows were introduced. There was a £715m drop between January 2023 and January 2024. But one key difference....Chelsea who dropped nearly £300 million themselves.
  4. Worth considering in very plain terms. The period involving this season would allow us FFP PS losses of £83million. Last season we lost £92 million alone - albeit you can take a good chunk of that off as doesn’t apply to FFP but in the context you’d need a loss of £27m per season in this period after FFP deductions In this FFP financial year, our player trading is at a profit of £14m.
  5. I find the argument ‘we didn’t really him’ a bit off because our manager wanted him enough to persist all window rather than looking at an alternative.
  6. They were plenty raising red flags about the deal. Notably @Ric Flair got a lot of shit for it
  7. How do you know Inter changed the terms? It’s ironic your final lines as it’s Enzo wanted his fella and one other midfielder
  8. Dunno we’ve accomplished the first part in living memory
  9. No, if his rep didn’t go before him, he’d have been head hunted by the likes of Villa or Newcastle post takeover. Remember Chelsea and Man U ended up having to negotiate with Whelan on Fofana and Maguire
  10. Managed to flog 11 though - with a couple more off to Turkey in next few days. Errr….while at Leicester….
  11. I do love how Rudkin is getting the credit for the PL win when there was someone else doing his job, babysitting him and getting some cracking players in. Then I think about that summer post PL win and how batshit mental crazy the signings were when Jon was allowed the keys to the scouting hut.
  12. Huth, Morgan, Drinkwater, Ndidi
  13. No hope with you fella This is a manifestation of poor decisions made by Rudkin, Top and upper tiers of the club lasting a number of years. That we are in this situation of being unable to spend £2 million in January transfer window is really disappointing
  14. Bingo
  15. Which is a result of past errors made by the same people hence the anger. Simpletons can work this stuff out
  16. No I’d have expected a competent club to have moved on and looked at loan deals as an alternative or as the club have done in some cases sent the team of people over there themselves.
  17. Why though? His contract runs out in six months and Inter are aware of our FFP situation. They had no room to haggle
  18. The fact he was physically in the country, had its medical, had photos with the shirt etc as confirmed by the journalist who is number 1 on Leicester news. Are you purposely being obtuse?
  19. As I’ve said elsewhere, talk about revealing your FFP position without releasing your accounts. Going to be so right low ball offers in the summer. Which ain’t very ****ing helpful right now
  20. There’s very strong evidence. Why would Inter let a player travel without an agreement? There must have been some basis for them to permit that. So why would Inter change from there? Because they are the ones missing out on dollar in the scenario.
  21. That’s the criticism. It’s multi-layered decay of numerous bad decisions over a period of time which manifests its self here. Bad decisions by the same people at the top of the club.
  22. Don’t think he will. This will have properly pissed off him and his agent
  23. As Teapot been saying all day, needed someone to leave. As simple as that. Tried to move goalposts on Inter like you say Of course last January, we had Perez in a contractual situation very similar and let him go for nothing
  24. Sorry? You’re deluded. I haven’t seen any other club so publicly play their hand and reveal so much about their FFP situation without actually breaching it
  25. Something it appears however a lot of clubs have managed to get a grasp of it.
