  1. https://hobnob.royals.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=190642&start=20 This could be a good watch
  2. Nuneaton evicted from their ground then. Jimmy throwing money on players but not paying the rent. Get the buckets out
  3. Sadly it’s also the lack of originality that exists now. Sets of fans just copy, change and repeat. Penalty of social media. Alongside this it feels like few clubs chant specifically about their players. A symptom of football in this era
  4. Yep I get the complains off a Rotherham, Bristol City or Preston whom have never had a parachute payment. But clubs such as Sunderland or Stoke, nope. You have two seasons to use the payments and get it right. If you fail to take advantage don’t moan other clubs dealt with it better
  5. Google 'Keith Stroud poor referee'
  6. The situation originates from making the Kop the cheapest seats in the ground. You’ve gone from the reasoning for sitting there being atmosphere to its the best value.
  7. Leeds. Who do it with two parts of the ground as well
  8. They took a nod from Blackburn’s press didn’t they? Push up on the double pivots of Winks and Ricardo. In that game though we still managed to get the ball into the wingers beating the press. This time we went longer with it. A bit more intelligence taking advantage of their high press of their big four woukd have killed then
  9. The fact it spontaneously occurred made it more heartfelt in the occasion
  10. I must admit I’m not having the reasoning for leaving early after last night. 82 mins in, 1-0, both teams playing out probably the game of the season at our place so far. Tense atmosphere. We aren’t talking one or two. It was hundreds which became thousands by 89 mins. This was a game live on television. If there’s factors which mean you have to leave early, you might as well have saved the hassle and watched from home/the pub/a neighbour etc. If you’ve made the effort on a midweek night for a long journey, you’ll have had to do it on the way there either an early finish or a race to get to kick off on time. So I don’t get it for the sake of 20 to 30 minutes extra
  11. I’d have won yesterday given my expletives towards Keith Stroud
  12. It’s happened for two bookable offences.
  13. Good numbers but very rent-a-song. 6.5 /10 bordering 7 for their little raises in noise whenever they pressed a goal kick on us
  14. 17 points behind us. Six games of victories. And we are nearing a third of the season gone. Maths must be poor there
  15. Sunderland’s loudest chant was ‘my garden shed’. Football fans are brilliantly witty 🤣
  16. Utterly depressing to seeing the empty seats after what was the hardest collective effort of the season by the players. That Enzo made an effort post match to signal approval to loudest part of the ground says a lot
  17. There’s no way we’d have held on last year with B-Rod. Resilience in buckets today when we clearly tired and stopped our press as effective as we were
  18. Keith Stroud has been a comedy act in the championship for a long time. When I heard we had the 4ft 2 referee I knew we’d have a performance for the ages. I think that’s the first game I’ve been told where the ref wanted to be part of it so much, that the scoreline should be reported Leicester 1 Sunderland 0 Keith Stroud 0
  19. Very Nuneaton that four hours before a home fixture they announce it will be played in Hinckley
  20. That’s Joe Root whose played in 10 Hundred games in total of a possible 25 he could have played
  21. When folk say you wouldn’t want to go back to the Premier League, the gap to achieve what Brighton did or nab a 7th isn’t a lot beyond staying up performance. Thats Europe. That’s memories for life.
  22. This is exactly the sort of stuff which should be in more football analysis. You see it happen with cricket etc. explanations about what they are trying to do rather than narrating on what’s taken place
  23. Ahh I remember when loads on here were saying what a good player Bassey is and why did we let him leave. There was a few of us who pointed out his weakenesses
