League One & Two - 2024/25 season
CosbehFox replied to moore_94's topic in General Football and Sport
That game between Stockport & Orient was 70% better than Championship games I've seen this season. -
It's not the extent of full pyro etc but there's signs it's creeping into non-league clubs where there's more freedom to be creative.
-
Agreement that each county plays a minor counties annually. Previous years theyve sensibly used that as a warm up for the 50 overs stuff and the major counties often weakened by the Hundred. This year they have allowed the counties to organise it themselves. As a result Leics used this blank Championship week to have a tune up for 20/20

I slightly mourn at what we’ve lost. I slightly get excited that we might reset to this. Also shows how you can get the mix of Ultra culture alongside traditional
-
Aye but we ain’t calling ourselves rebel city
-
‘Rebel City’ - they have embraced about Robin Hood. The fooking irony given they were scabs during the Miners Strike
-
How?
-
Nothing to lose. The longer we keep them out, the more restless they will get If we get anything, ****ing glorious. We lose, semper eadem

More than a thing. Shacked up now and the root of why Kirk left

Championship 2024/2025 Season Thread

Red. Goodman on comms completely ignoring the umpteen attempts of a pull etc before he books the ball -
It would at all surprise me if that stadium has transferred ownership to a new company or individuals. I notice it's only Ku left now as a director. It's these who've brought the winding up - https://www.halliday-lighting.co.uk - so they haven't paid bills regards their floodlights Their accounts are shocking - creditors owed £323k
-
Looks like Leicester Road on their last legs. Got wind up petitions against them. Was always going to finish this way
-
Yeah - last time it was the opening weekend. This time it’s not but they are still doing it. Bit odd
-
Your first point is correct but your second point is not. Any work to do with your facilities is exempt from PSR calculation. Seagrave was exempt for example
-
Which in essence is a good rule because it was leading to scenarios such as the Glazers on Manchester United. there’s a lot of fault with PSR but this area isn’t bad. In fact the scenario woukd be worse because it would be a huge arms race where the state owned clubs would succeed
-
You’d be right if King Power weren’t needing a loan every year to assist with cash flow
-
Have to remember Cooper was firmly Plan B. The club thought they had Potter over the line.
-
We took 7k Tbf - be a different demographic compared to most league games
-
I won’t at this point highlight who Leuven’s manager is…..
-
£10 on Sunday for the semi final in playoffs v Sheffield
-
Same league in my opinion
-
Wouldn’t call Ben Jacob’s credible personally
-
Enjoyed the much Deano-loved Grey Goose in Gilmorton on Sunday
-
Same team did 'Where is George Gibney?' Awful story but important it is told. Nonce of an Irish swimming coach currently hiding in the US.

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)
CosbehFox replied to Sly's topic in General Chat
Did an easy effort 10k on Sunday as part of the comeback to fitness. Sometimes it's nice to do those runs to remember why you enjoy it so much.
