Our school team was a bit like this, we had the England U15 GK, 3 of us in the LCFC Academy and the rest playing for the county. It was an unreal year for sport. This was before you were prevented playing for the school team if you were in academy. We also had McDonalds gold cards as they sponsored the FA Grass roots stuff .... Basically, as much free McDonald's as you like..... Went against the modern ethos of nutrition for athletes 🤣🤣🤣 Might be why I'm now 18 stone to be fair. 🤣

Let's not forget that we are also relying MAINLY on his attacking output. Neither mav or Monga are producing at the same level as Fatawu. I hope it will come in time for Monga, he is only 16 after all, but we can't rely on him for goals or assists at this point. It's an unfair expectation.

i guess there is no way to "game" the system anymore to convert GP ultimate at a lower price?? I'm sure I got about 3 years worth of Ultimate for barely any money.... runs out boxing day this year....

depends on your budget, but we bought some Samsonite ones recently for our Summer Holidays. Would thoroughly recommend. https://www.samsonite.co.uk/essens-spinner-75cm--radiant-yellow/146912-4702.html?cgid=luggage_suitcases

I agree with this... He does become a little predictable.... BUT if he lashes one in like that every game....I guess it's effective. I'd like to see him go outside more often.

Swansea 1-3 LCFC, post match thread

Exactly. He helps us stretch the game. He's not an effective talismanic striker, but he probably allows the wingers and midfielders to be MORE effective by creating a bigger space for them to play in. -
My personal view, is that the whole mechanism of party politics, doesn't serve the population. The discourse and point scoring and pointing out of all flaws, just leads to a population that doesn't have a positive view of government. I don't see it ever changing in that regard. I would however like to see some form of PR. at least that way all of the good ideas should come to the surface and have a greater chance of becoming reality. Nearly all of the major parties have valid ideas. But there is no space in our politics for these to be discussed. It's a very "all or nothing" approach with FPTP. and where generally between half and two thirds of people don't vote for the party in charge, they feel disenfranchised. It all needs tearing up and staring again.

you never know mate, the charger might be compatible... what is it?

I think the biggest things to takeout of that poll are firstly (ironically) the Primacy / Recency effect. All of starmers current mistakes are at the forefront of people's minds, so its much easier to recall being dissatisfied with him than previous PM's. Secondly... the power of the media. MOST printed media and MOST of X are supporters of the right wing, so the left get infinitely more aggressive bad press than the right do when in government, or even looking like they might make a government. I'm not saying labour have got most things right... but they aren't anywhere near as bad as the population or the media would have you believe. The Media knows the Tories are a busted flush.... so they all line up behind Farage as the Anointed one in waiting. the amount of media coverage that man gets, in relation to the size of his party is astonishing really. CLEARLY he's an exceptional Orator. Probably the best of his generation and he is also one of the most opportunist. but even then, that alone can't account for the amount of air time he gets. It's crazy.

Don't ever tell me that we would be a better side this season without Harry winks. He is absolutely sublime at this level. Far too good.

I never realised there was quite so many ex Leicester players at Wrexham.

it's for the whole house mate.

They've also just released a V2G tariff. So if your car has Vehicle to Grid capability, you will be able to charge your car for free, as long as it's always plugged in when at home. My only query on this, is what impact that has on battery degradation..... I really go like Greg Jackson and Octopus as a company. If I could invest in them, I absolutely would. He's very innovative and future focused.
-
full disclosure mate, we were already with Octopus, so it just made sense to move onto the electric tariff. Work installed the Charging Point for free as part of an offer for their EV scheme and we just made sure we picked one with compatibility.... IF you have Solar or Battery at home.. be careful with that, as our charger doesn't support that functionality, but we don't have solar or battery anyway at this point. Final thing to be aware of with Octopus (i don't know if this is true of all suppliers) - but you are only meant to have 1 EV on the tariff.... We have two EV's.... but we let the Charger itself handle the communication with Octopus (rather than the car directly) - so technically, they don't know which vehiecle is charging.... Octopus do also do an "unlimited" option where you pay £30 a month fixed price for EV charging.... if you are gonna be high mileage, might be worth doing the calculations as you might be better off that way. As an when I can be bothered to do the maths... I might switch to that.

some 1st cousins I was at school with Married.... although they were from Braunstone............so...............
-
I'm with octoput on Intelligent Octopus Go.... only some chargers are compatible with the "intelligent" element of it mate.... essentially, for me, I plug the car in, tell it when I need it charging by, and octopus decide when they will then flow electric to the charger.... it doesn't JUST happen between an 11pm and 05:00 window... They do it at 7.5p per KWH...... but when they choose to charge the car... the whole house is on 7.5p sometimes octopus choose to charge at 14:00 onm a Saturday afternoon if there is a surplus of electricity.

Ah apologies, thought it was last year.

Which I totally agree with. Marti is on a tiny bit of a hiding to nothing in some ways. Promotion is absolutely the aim for the club this year. He possibly can't afford to "blood" some youngsters in the hope that their ceiling is higher.... But also knows he has deficiencies in the senior squad that he has to mitigate. Do you roll the dice on youngsters who some weeks will be 8/10 and others potentially a 4/10..... (Potentially making results less predictable) OR do you play the players who are mostly 6 or 7 out of 10 each week but very rarely an 8 and never a 9. The fans are probably more understanding of our plight than the club. Let's not forget that they set a playing budget last season on the expectation we would finish 8th or higher!

When did VK turn into RoboCop???!?!

Back to my original point, that the vast majority of employers in the country, CURRENTLY have to see physical copies. The vast majority don't use a DVS to verify ID. This changes that and streamlines the ability to check people's ID. I don't really understand why you are quite so opposed to it. Can't carry on chatting though, apparently I've got some citizens to go and hate and hope I can divide them.
-
Then you must use a 3rd party to verify your ID. Because it's a legal requirement to see original copies or to be able to verify their authenticity. This should help you out poppet. Happy Reading. https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/6878ead80263c35f52e4dd76/26_06_25_Guidance_Right_to_work_checks_-_an_employer_s_guide.pdf

I'm so sorry that so many of your freedom's have been removed and controlled Debs. Are you doing ok?? 🤣
-
No, I'm not lying. SOME companies are able to verify stuff digitally, IF they have the right software and licences. But not all of them can. I work for a 2.5bn t/o Financial Services company, as a manager in the recruitment function, and I have to see the physical copies. But sure, you know more sunshine.

We looked a class above until about 9 minutes and 30 seconds into the game 🤣🤣
