Port Vale was a last minute move, think he was trying to move all summer until they eventually gave in and let him move on deadline day. He was told all summer he’d be around the first team prior to the move, yet wasn’t. Not all facts, but little snippets of what I got told. But yeah, he didn’t perform fantastically whilst out on loan, but we didn’t exact set him up for a successful spell.

Tried to get loan moves quite a few times and was messed around by Rudkin/the club, told he was going to play for us and then was shunned. Goodluck to the lad, he just wants to play games from what I've heard.

People actually turning Enzo down? I was critical of him towards the end of his season here, but now it looks like he worked miracles by getting this club back into the PL.

You believe that if you want. We’ll hear ‘they tried to get Enzo, what more do you want? No-one wanted to come to us’ after we appoint Russell Martin or give it Kingy until end of the season. There’s still people who believe we spent all those January transfer windows trying to buy players when the idea was a last minute loan all along.

You don’t think the fans won’t love to hear how we’re resigning our world class ex manager or the best goalkeeper we’ve had in a number of years. Neither of which will happen. Same as the interview a few weeks back about pulling together, it’s to ensure the plebs beneath them get back in an orderly line for another few months and stop questioning the hierarchy. Remember how we were signing Potter and ended up with Cooper. Remember how we were chasing that Sensi all transfer window, then ended up not being able to afford to sign anyone. 90% of the stuff the club does is kept in house there’s very few leaks, the majority of the leaks are stuff they want in the public domain, for their own reasons.
