Scotland look a lot more prepared compared to euro 21, it seemed like the occasion got to them back then. They may sneak a point tonight... but I think they'll still finish bottom come the end of game three

I found it laughable how some of the English reporters lets get behind home nations... try telling Scottish and welsh that when we play Sunday I mean sorry but its like asking man utd fans to get behind man city in next seasons champions league.

Sneaky feeling this be a 1-1 draw, Germany dominate most of the first half. Despite the dominance half time brings the team deadlocked, second half sees Germany take the lead early in first half. Scotland begin to play after an hour mark and do eventually create some chances and eventually become rewarded by scoring a late equaliser towards the end of the second period.

Southgate once made a promise hed only take players fully fit and in form. I think Smalling could reconsidered doing great for Roma, seems to have gone off the England radar. Least with Smalling theres good experience there.

Potter was always possibly the best name we could hope for at the moment under circumstances if we pull this off, its job well done by Leicester.

I can see Serbia also, want to be wrong but the last two performances... looked disjointed. Going into the Euro 21 and World Cup last time, there was so much excitement and encourage going into the tournament. Players and fans looked like prepared, ready and buzzing to go now. I just feel that we haven't been the same for last few months, some negativity as crept in. A few players look tired, problems from the past that maybe haven't seen for a while in England shirt have started to reappear. Hopefully this just a smoke screen for an epic tournament for England. England 1990, England went into under poor form and players came under stick from day one, but ended up having satisfying tournament to the semis.

I think the appointment is close the rumours of Potter is certainly become more to a light now. If it is announced that Potter turns down Leicester job, then it's probably going to be Cooper. Be good if the club could announce this before the euro's, so the players can feel at ease knowing who the new manager is especially the ones on tour.

Newcastle could attract bigger now, Jose maybe tempted up. If not him then maybe possibly likes of Poch. Newcastle after so long as become attractive project again.

Potter is an okay appointment, better than some names mentioned but you kind hide the fact that in English football he hasn't exactly achieved anything yet. Decent spells at Swansea and Brighton rather than incredible spells. I think Potter would get more of response from supporters than Enzo. Local guy from Solihull so yeah why not. Am I right in thinking that Potter got a job whilst living in Sweden as a dentist. I'm sure i heard this somewhere.

I was quite confident getting this group, but having watched us in the last two games and seen results elsewhere a little bit of concern as crept in. Serbia must watch the England performance against Iceland and have some hope of getting something out of the game. The longer you frustrate England, the more likely you will get summit. Seems like the more defenders you camp in your box, England will not get through. We hope that, this is fixed in training. A lot of players looked totally clueless and lost for ideas. For me times like this we need to encourage players like Foden, Bellingham, Palmer to take long range efforts outside the box.

Poor decision making today from Butler, bowling first was not a good decision on this pitch. Letting a part time bowler, bowl in second over which was the most expensive conceded in the whole match, being what just over 3 overs in we're already allowed Australia to knock up 50 without no wicket, you know it's going to be a long afternoon. Getting 200 was always a tough ask but a really slow period between 7th over and 15th where we only manager to score 20 runs, playing some pointless weak singles when desperately needed fours and sixes. Too much slowness and players treating it like a 50 over matching, thinking playing it safe and take their time. Bairstow was in for about half an hour yet only made 7 runs... poor whilst Ali who not his biggest fan of managed to make 23 in less that time.
