Imagine it's your first game in charge of Tottenham and end up getting battered by your biggest rivals at home... safe to say it's not good start and already not popular with supporters. -

Most likely they would run riot in the championship, I'd be interested to see what manager they would hire in the championship. -

That would make it harder for him to get a move next season if Tottenham go down, so potentially next season you could see Maddison playing his trade in the championship. -

Never thought I'd wanna see Arsenal win, but the thought of seeing Tottenham in the championship would be too good to miss -

That late Palace goal kept Glasner in the role for another week, failed to win that against Wolves I think he would have gone tomorrow. Already set to leave in the summer but it wouldn't surprise me if leaves a lot sooner. -

Rowett did get a reaction in second half to his credits but should have won the game. -
Protest march vs Norwich - Sat 28th Feb 2026
Leicesterpool replied to Dan's topic in Leicester City Forum
A agree with the protest, timing not so sure. Problem now too many fans i thnk are sticking up for Top still keep reminding us of the premier league and fa cup triumph. Ancient history im afraid, that success has come and gone. -

Current manager dont help there case, lacks experience. Strange appointment, dont expact he will last. -
You could do with researching dyslexia

Makes me sick how people for long time grovelling to royal family and along most are corrupt and yet some hypocrites see them as wonderful and singing "god save the king". You would hope finally people would smell the coffee and realise this family are not fine example to the nation.

Im not sure to suggest swapping daka and Mavadidi round let daka run down the wing see what he can do and allow Mavadidi to go up top. What we got to lose crap anyway. Monga too lightweight struggling to keep the ball. -

Leicesterpool replied to Finnegan's topic in Leicester City Forum
Theres about 3 players having to carry the team at the moment. The rest look slow and disinterested. Mavadidi reaction summed it up, done a run near on the box looked up to see no one with him... -

May nick a win who knows, 2-1 Leicester -
I think too many fans are basing his time at Oxford and reading into that too much. You have to remember Oxford have the weakest squad in the championship as well most likely smallest budget. I did think Pep could not go in there create a miracle.

Probably best next step, we cant keep chopping and changing managers every few months. There was a time once when we didnt replace a manager for four years... mind he stayed a year too long
-
Giving Andy King the job would have been worse, that would have showcased how low we sank and that every manager we approached turned us down.
-
Sadly i doubt we will be successful, the only thing we can put in our defence is if we say weird being punished whilst Man City havent but even then were clutching at straws. I can imagine Forest and Everton tried that.
-
Probably Russell Martin i think... why i dont know hes awful. Then Probably Enzo who was never going to return, Dyche was never going to come. In the end it was between Rowett and the former Aberdeen boss. Rowett probably got it based on his championship experience.

Listening to the interview, sounds like he just wants the team go back to basics and desire to want to play again. I think he will bring the discipline and enthusiasm back. Also worked with Jordan James before so he knows what he's capable of that's for sure.

I would expect it at non league level, where maybe social media little bit slow due to availability of volunteers uploading etc... but once again shows poor communication from the football club. I mean post this at 10am brief comment to say "We are thrilled and excited to announce Gary Rowett as our new Leicester City manager, we would like to welcome Gary and his backroom team to the football club. Already Gary is hard at work down at our Seagrave training ground preparing for our key away clash at Stoke City. Further details of recent new management appointment will be announced shortly as well exclusive interview with our new manager Gary Rowett" that is all that was required. Simple and enough, is that too much to ask.
