  1. Thats the plot for the Christmas special 😆
  2. Liverpool losing at home to very bang average Man Utd team.
  3. Brendan Rogers to Forest? 🙄 hated here anyway so bit more hatred wont hurt him lol.
  4. They had that with Matt Smith and Peter Capaldi but they decided to take more lighter tone, there trying to hard tick the typical bbc boxes. I do feel its took more LGBTQ path, doesn't feel its part of the same show ten years on.
  5. Is that the shortest stay at a top flight club? Brian Clough at Leeds was 44 days.. Ange beaten that by five days.
  6. Started off well and seemed ideal replacement to MON. However as time went on, he got found out. First few months he kept things the same, then brought his own ideas to the table, went from being league cup winners, top eight finishes in 2000 to relegation in two years.
  7. was it only that much... still £2.5 million too much. Alot of players joined us in that calendar that never really wanted come... they were hooked by the £££ I think we were offering stupid wages at the time. Matt Mills certainly too add to this catagory, I thought at the time he was best defender the championship signs for us... wow he was so bad, Pearson clearly didn't think much of him don't think he even played again after like February. Was sold again in the summer to Bolton, admitted in a few interviews since he didn't really want to come sort of forced out by Reading due to the huge transfer offer they received, £5 million some quoted we spent.
  8. If he is catholic that is, im not sure.
  9. Ten Haag maybe the next to be linked i think.. perhaps the next to reject it aswell. One outside shout might be Michael O'Neill the Northern Ireland boss.
  10. I heard on a league one youtube video supposedly Pearson's apparently being considered for the Blackpool job. Could you see him showing up on the Lancashire coast?
  11. I think there has been interested parties to buy the club just the owner is stubborn on the price tag. Is it 100million he wants for the club or something? Mike Ashley is apparently is very interested in the club.
  12. That's not how a manager should be or should think, at times in management probably got to start from scratch and develop the squad you have got. It's all part of management. You can't expect to walk into a club and expect it to be perfect.
  13. Well safe to say Doctor Who seems like it will be off air for some time, no production plans even for 2026. The last two series was the final nail in the coffin in what was well established BBC show, again mixture of very poor writing, poor casting, too political and just boring. Best thing for the show is to take a few years gap and reboot on the whole thing forgetting the last five years. Keep Russell T. Davies away from it.
  14. Beckford being a decent signing, I'm sure we spent something like £7million on him from Everton. They must have been laughing their heads off. At the time thought it was key signing that would get us the goals to get us promoted but it was a panic buy, as we missed out on Nicky Maynard and we spent a lot of money on a striker that actually never played in the championship and set mainly on the bench for Everton the last two seasons. There was a lot of dodgy buys that summer.
  15. Weirdly enough I'd say the first six or seven games, in the terms of the quality of teams comparing step 5 to step 6 seemed very similar. The teams were facing early on didn't look particular great, the last three or four games seem to have been more challenging and really needed to dig deep to get results, though sadly I don't think much of Hinckley last night, the goalkeeper for them kept them in the game whilst our borrowed keeper last night had little to do other than pick out of the net late on. Aylestone Park seem the threat this season and some expected this. Got Stafford Town away on Saturday in the Fa Vase, I think there like the same level as us so that expected to be a tough test. The game is all ticket, due to fact Stafford's Town's ground can only hold 600 apparently, I heard we sold over 150 tickets last night.
  16. Giving Shakey the job on full time basis was well deserved... Did a good job in the interim from February till the end of the season, climbed away from the relegation zone and reached the champions league quarter finals. Just looked so helpless in the job long term, looking back now I'm not sure what was the forward thinking with Shakey. Worked out short term in terms of holding the fort but long term he wasn't strong enough for the main manager job. Shakey was a fantastic coach just not a manager, perfect assistant to any manager. I always feel that the board never wanted to give him the job on a full term, it was more fan pressure to give him the job. I think Puel was already being lined up for the summer.
  17. A5 derby finished 3-1 to the Boro, very decent crowd of 802 with around 43 from Hinckley not bad at all for Step 5 on a midweek evening during an England night.
  18. Im expecting 700 plus, could have been more if wasnt for the England game on aswell. The first A5 league derby for 13 years! In that time boro got to national league, hinckley got relegated and went bust and formed into two clubs. Boro get relegated twice, go bust and reform. One of the Hinckley clubs go bust and once again Hinckley are one club team. Two towns had similar downfalls and both playing out of town.
  19. So former Premier League ref Mr Coote pleads guilty to making indecent images, gets from bad to worse for him. Just imagine this guy refereed many of our premier league games and now we know all long what he likes, utter scum bag.
  20. It's in better part of Ireland
  21. I know non league clubs when announcing the attendance they include season tickets even if there or not.
  22. Blackburn Rovers i get difficult attachment in the north west. I can imagine in a town where a lot locals either support Liverpool, man utd and man city. Its same for Preston and Burnley round that neck of the woods. In fact when our last visit to Preston, on a matchday apart from Leicester fans... all i seen was Liverpool shirts around the city wasnt till i got closer to deepdale you seen more Preston fans.
  23. Scotland fans are overrated, they believe there team are better than what they are.
  24. I wonder Gerrard is eyeing up the Norwich City job, hes perhaps looked how Lampard as revived himself at Cov and thinks he can do the same at Norwich.
  25. Grayson really falling from grace, he was a decent manager at blackpool, leeds and Preston. All gone wrong since disaster stint at Sunderland.
