The appointment of Ruud I think would certainly lift the squad. I know he hasn't got a great deal of management experience but when your someone with the name and what Ruud as won as a player, who he has worked with and coached by would inspire anyone. The appointment of Moyes would feel like a quick fix, mission stay up but come next season things would become very stale and the negativity would return and calls for another management change from supporters would begin.

Ruud by the sounds of Radio Leicester
-
Scary thought that Southgate is not being mentioned much and that could be the left wing appointment,
-
Commercially for the board, they'll be rubbing their hands the global response to his appointment. Ex Man United and Real Madrid player coming to manage Leicester.
-
No smoke but it's interesting that RVN, only announced three or four days before Cooper's sacking, that he was keen to go straight back into management... though he was being linked to Cov job as well at one point.
-
According radio leicester they understand Moyes and Potter are not going to be considered for the job. Is it going to RVN... sounds interesting
-
Manager they went for weren't great.
-
Moyes is old hat, despite winning the conference league their league form over the last two season was abysmal.
-
The board I think have got Potter finally, perhaps during the international break they were working get him finally before Saturday they got the nod from Potter he'd accept. For the board though, it was all about that next defeat then pull the trigger. We lost so there got a reason to sack Cooper. Tuesday an announced will be made.
-
Potter I think will be fave for the job seeing as was their first choice in the summer and if they got wind he'd fancy it now, then they've made their move.
-
What is interesting it's said from the club that Ben Dawson, Danny Alcock and Andy Hughes will oversee first team training, but not as caretaker management duties which makes you think have the board already got someone lined up and be in charge for the next game against Brentford.
-
Time for this dutchman, lets get him down Filbert Way.
-
Ruud don't sound a bad shout.
-
Nice guy, but looked a challenge to big for him. Championship perhaps more his level

Vardy better than Kane & Rooney ??
Leicesterpool replied to justfoxes's topic in Leicester City Forum
Based on silverware.... Rooney has won lots more sadly and a champions league medal, but notable under the Fergie regime. Soon as Fergie left Man Utd, Rooney trophy cabinet soon became empty. Vardy can still say he has won a league title, fa cup and a community shield to his name and 4th place world cup medal... rooney don't have one of them lol. Kane... has won.... nowt lol. Lets not forget a lot of his goals have came from the pen spot. -
Results going against us, needed tielemans too help us but he misses 😒

This summer our transfer window was like giving someone £10 to get a weekly shop in asda... you aint getting much... alot of reduced items. Today seen too many hopeless players, some not to premier league standard.
-
Always being promoted on magazines or gmb news or wherever.
-
I remember the Tigers opened a club shop in the highcross a few years ago... only lasted 3 months.
-
Keen to do Wrexham again, not done it in over 12 years. Imagine back then they could only attract 2,700... then they sell out every week. Only way to get tickets is go in the away end with poorly followed team... waiting till Burton play away there or something.

MOTD the way its going, rumours of Roman Kemp will just finish it for me. Most irritating guy on tv... got on thanks to daddy. I'm a celeb, loved it once but it's been going stale for years. Coronation Street, never known far fetched soap... well okay Eastenders maybe. But how can one street have so many affairs and murders... barely recognise anyone on it now. Not watched in ten years. Gets more stupid every year, with it's strange storylines. Won't be long till bring a time travel story line.. it's getting that daft.

League One & Two - 2024/25 season
Leicesterpool replied to moore_94's topic in General Football and Sport
Better solution if he hates England so much and loves Ireland. Why dont he play in the Irish league. Problem solved... happy to take our English pound. -
I can leave alright but just not another job to walk into. Looking around my options are limited, no car makes it difficult.
-
Not bought many items from the foxes this season, pricing too damning. Bought this top from Turkey for £10... yep a copy but rather that than pay £60 or whatever it is now.

Going through at the moment, no motivation in terms of my job of late... just had enough. Don't like the politics surrounding the job and management living in a different world, want out but there's just no out their that excites me to move on to. Health wise not good, got bowel issues. Got chrones so yeah been a rough patch of late, that's dragging me down. My dad is still poorly and having lots of tests at the moment, so a lot stress surrounding that present. Just never ending at the moment. I don't think living in my flat alone is not doing me any favours at the moment, constant negativity going through my mind all the while. Wish I could stay with my girlfriend for a while but she lives in Countesthorpe and cannot commute from there to work. So tempted to just stay my folks for the week. Got some annual leave next week, which is much needed. Could do with some welcome distractions. Sometimes it's like one thing after another.
