  1. Luton sack Edwards.... Ooh sorry a day early announcing that
  2. Another theory bringing in Duff to Coventry as manager they might try and lure back fans favourite Robbie Keane as his assistant of course former team mate of Duff.
  3. What's with bushy beard... looks like an angry gardner
  4. Cov apprently are considering going for Damien Duff so I heard following his successful achievement of guiding Shelbourne to their first Irish League title in 17 years. Is the Irish league actually any good?
  5. People want Carlos Corberan still? If he was British, people would say it's basically Tony Pulis brand football but when your foreign it's master piece football. Never been impressed with West Brom under him, defensively good but attacking... nothing very limited.
  6. We would have struggled to get in the top eight I think, our fixtures in the group wasn't easy but wasn't the hardest group. Part from Club Brugge we found it hard playing away.
  7. I think under the circumstances Israeli clubs shouldn't have been playing in any uefa competition, just while the unrest is ongoing. It's tad risky especially as trouble like this was likely to happen at some stage one way or another.
  8. I'm glad the Burton v Tamworth is a now game now, great opportunity to go.
  9. meh North East Yorkshire whatever, he'll likely be at Hull.
  10. Perhaps Robins was just at Cov too long, sadly for him no decent opportunity came to make that step up. He could still do a job in the premier league if anyone wanted to take a gamble. However likely his next job will be in the championship. Hull City notable lost again and haven't won in six, there manager under pressure so don't rule out Robins ending up at North Yorkshire.
  11. Robins wont be out long... a lot of championship clubs will be interested. Next for Cov? Going to be Rowett you think?
  12. Isnt Trump hoping to change rules on how many times they can stay in office. Its set at two. Naturally been set that way to avoid dictatorship hence what we see in Russia. Makes you think surprised theres no limit on how many elections a prime minister can stand for. Imagine if this was Thatchers reign would have been a lot shorter.
  13. Somehow I think Trump might edge it, just think even though there are male anti trump voters some are still some sexist voters and who won't vote for a woman and rather have Trump in charge..
  14. I remember a few years ago, Christopher Nolan was eyeing an live action darker toned Captain Scarlet remake. Think he's too late... though it's been done already with Mikel Arteta
  15. I think chris nolan was remaking the prisoner
  16. Burton Albion v Tamworth old rivals reunite... all police leave cancelled however.... shame would love to have gone but same weekend as Brentford away.
  17. I remember Nuneaton Borough we held Histon 2-2 draw at Manor Park, needed a replay in the second round. Sunday afternoon was the draw... most exciting ever thinking were half in the hat alongside the big boys... finally it came out Nuneaton Borough or Histon v Middlesbrough, premier league team coming to Manor Park but you then realised you've still got to win the replay. Most week I dreaded to a fixture, the worst dilemma is imagine us losing and having to witness Histon take on Middlesbrough. Thankfully the gods were with us that night.... veteran defender Terry Angus headed a late winner. The christmas period leading up to the fixture was summit special... remember the queue for tickets... yep before online or phone sales... a long queue down the road by the old manor park. The three tickets cost £38 back in 2006, worth every penny. Was at the turnstiles soon as it opened... at midday... three hours before kick off to get a good spot in - minus temperatures. Honestly up their being one of the greatest football days... FA Cup as magic like no other.
  18. Another tie Harborough Town may fancy is Burton Albion at home, brewers struggling at the moment and just edged National League North Scarborough. Somehow I think a trip to Market Harborough they might found tricky.
  19. I think they'll get play offs but I can see them slipping up their.
  20. Interesting thought do Kettering fancy a home tie to Gainsborough, better there chances of getting to round three and getting a premier league team then or get Birmingham City in round two a much harder test but make a lot of money from it.
  21. Fantastic results for harborough, kettering and Hednesford. Hoping for Harborough v Kettering in round 2... i know both fans would hate that but it would be a tasty derby that guarantees a non league club in round three. Edit: im wrong Hednesford got knocked out, thought i heard they won... but cracking result for Gainsborough.
  22. Point victory but wow we were shocking, the sending off and 8 minute injury time saved us and cooper Edit: why did i say Potter.... no i know nothing 😏
  23. I reckon Leicester will have decent first half without putting in the net, second its different Ipswich come out having a go and knick the one 1 goal against... im sorry folks.
  24. Completely random one but I think playing all the games at KP, I think don't help the team especially when only like 1k turn up. Echo atmopshere, probably better when they play at a small ground, least the fans are closer to the action. Hinckley Leicester Road I always thought would have been good home for the ladies.
  25. No midlands clubs left, been 13 years since the League Cup been to the midlands last.
