Very decent goal, the amount of time he had on the ball is one of the reasons we should run away with the league.
-
Its also counter intuitive for the manager to persist with picking options on the bench that means he cannot respond to games like this and turn it around.
-
He’ll look decent to good in this league but it/when we go up he’ll be completely exposed. Theres a reason he dropped a league when he’s supposed to be in his prime.
-
Enzo doesn’t have one. He’s got 2 keepers on the bench hes never going to use as well as 3 full backs he is also never going to use. We just have to hope plan A works with the limited options he’s put on the bench.
-
He can pass though which is apparently vital.
-
Don’t worry i’m sure Enzo has a wealth of attacking options on the bench to choose from to turn this game around….
-
Feels like we could genuinely go the season unbeaten the standard of opposition is horrendous in this league.
-
Castange in the squad and 2 keepers on the bench again so there goes the theory he’s leaving out players who want to leave considering Castange is on the verge of a move to Fulham. I’m fully behind Enzo but I do believe he’s now made his point and its starting to look a bit petulant at this point.

Allegedly.

Hmm second away game running we seem to have been caught out with a lack of outfield players travelling to cover a last minute injury…
-
3 games in a row he’s put 2 keepers on the bench now when theres other options and leaving us short of attacking options if a game needs turning around. Granted its not bitten us yet but its only a matter of time.
-
Marcal scoring last week only to be bombed out the squad because Enzo is still trying to make a point with the extra keeper.
-
More chance of Elizabeth II coming back from the dead for a Butlins Big Weekender.
-
She would have the whole family in chains within a month.

We are going to watch another chunk of expensive flops walk away for free in the summer aren't we because 'the person in charge of selling' is still extremely high off their own smug from the Maguire transfer.
-
I mean the worlds most avoidable relegation followed by multiple assets walking away for cheap/free as well as being lumbered with high cost low value assets we can't shift hindering progress and a manager that's been complaining in the press non stop about it. But sure everythings being blown completely out of proportion because we've beat 4 absolutely naff teams.

The biggest worry for me is that Maresca after 3 months is sounding like Rodgers after 3 years. We are probably in a fair bit of danger of a really good manager walking away because the board and Rudkin have taken the 'too good to stay down' attitude and have just not given the manager what he asked for and was probably promised before he joined. Maresca is a man so committed to his philosophy there is absolutely no way he would of joined without the guarantee he was going to get what he needs.
-
Some posters on here are adamant that Maresca is 100% happy and isn't publicly making suggestions to the board at all...
-
Heavy accusation you got there, do you have any proof that he's actually responsible for transfers?
-
You cant just go throwing accusations like that out without knowing the exact roles and responsibilities those underperforming employees have…

Chilwell definitely benefitted from second puberty. Turned into a complete athlete over one summer. As for Thomas most of us wanted him to kick on from his early promise but I just dont think he will here, like a lot of other players hes ended up in a rut that he’ll only get out of by leaving.
-
He’s definitely stronger than he looks, he is the definition of wiry strength. Rarely ever seen him get injured from tackles either.
-
The fact he's refused to deny it as well as on several occasions been very cagey/cryptic with his answers in relation to it as well as pulling the stunt on two separate occasions lends a lot of credence to the theory. It hasn't been dropped is because a lot of posters were just calling the theory rubbish despite the mounting evidence. If it were rubbish the manager wouldn't be so cagey and he would give an insightful answer as to why he feels the need to have two keepers on the bench provides him with a tactical advantage. He's usually so straightforward and blunt with his answers (which is refreshing) which makes this even more odd. The 'not dignifying' it with an answer response wont wash either. People are clearly interested in why the manager feels it is tactically beneficial to the squad to have 2 keepers on the bench in 2 consecutive games.

He was never going too. He took the biggest payday on offer because he knows in 2 years he’ll be slumming it in the Turkish league. Was great for us for 2 years but he’s clearly knackered beyond repair now.
