So how are we all feeling now the window has closed.
Dames replied to Suzie the Fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Not great but theres been too many mistakes to be rectified in one window. It amazes that in the past 3-4 years we’ve had 2 summers and 2 winters of making minimal signings and we are still deep in the mire with PSR. -
4 goals in a Holland and 28 goals in the MLS doesnt fill me with confidence. Hope i’m proven wrong but Dakas numbers were better than these in similar quality leagues.

Bilal El Khannouss loaned to Stuttgart - Official
Dames replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
No i dont think it is. The clubs a mess, its no surprise a player with the potential he has doesnt want to waste any more time playing with Ayew, DCR, Soumare, Vestergaard etc in a lower league with the points deduction coming. People are misdirecting their anger here, it firmly needs to remain on those who have allowed things to get this bad. -
I’d say that this is probably the worst window in memory, even worse than the Ryan Bennett one.
-
Was hoping he’d kick on here with Bilal leaving and us making 0 signings. Must not be that well rated.
-
You talk of intelligence but in his 3 years here i’ve not seen Wout display even a modicum of it.
-
I’ve been saying for weeks now that there is no chance we are spending any actual money, maybe a loan or two on deadline day but thats all we are getting alongside a few more outgoings.
-
Not convinced by Cifuentes at the minute, the Skipp Soumare experiment is burning a lot or credit.

Not starting tonight surely means hes off? -
Not to mention the Seagrave curse will hit and he will do his ACL in week 2 of signing.

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

Even if he makes a move we wont be signing anyone for money. This window has so many similarities with the window we only signed Faes and got relegated from the Premier League. We sacked RvN and still have too many duffers on high wages with Championship revenue and reduced psr allowances. There is absolutely 0 wiggle room even with 2-3 more sales. -
James Justin (signed for Leeds, official. 10m.)

He was bad last season but you’re right being next to Faes made him appear a lot worse. -
If Thracian still posted here he’d still be saying how he’s still our best choice for left back.

Wout Faes (Besiktas interest, Fabrizio Romano)

I still remember after we got spanked by Spurs how there were people absolutely over the moon with his performance, wild time. -

People still desperate to not get their his better than Fofana shouts wrong from when he first joined. -

This is too good to be true. -
There will be no credit for Rudkin around here thanks. Unless he manages to shift Soumare, Vestergaard and Faes for actual money.

Kasey McAteer sold to Ipswich - Official

I think the most outrageous thing about this statement is that we’re still considered to be in the promotion challenge -
If it wasnt for the FA cup win Rodgers would go down as one of the worst managers in our history. His mismanagement is a huge part of why we are where we are now.

We wont be spending it. Or any other money this window for that matter. Good luck to Kasey though, always gave 100% and always seemed to have a knack for scoring. Hope he has a good career. -
I dont think this is the case because of the debt to shares conversion KP have done. If anything they need us with the strongest squad possible to keep the value high. What we are seeing now is the culmination of years of careless mismanagement and the reluctance to learn from it.

I genuinely think we will be in a relegation battle this season after that result and performance and seeing what Stoke did to Sheff Weds.

Thinking about it, it looks to me that theres a deep flaw in the recruitment strategy. We recruit attacking players generally that can press but when it comes to centre mids we recruit players that will have good ball retention statistics and nothing else and that strategy is creating a huge disconnect in the team. Its not feasible to recruit players with good ball retention stats from teams such as Spurs because those stats are skewed by how often they have the ball.

We’ve far too many happy clappers that are content to see us back in what they see as our rightful place as a yoyo club and we should just be eternally grateful for the short period of success we had. We could finish bottom of the league this season and at least 60% of the crowd will be clapping on the last day of the season.

Also if you’re looking for easy in the City Centre Tamatanga do a great Garlic Chilli Chicken and the Tama chips are an excellent side.
