  1. I really feel for Sheff Weds but selfishly this is a chance to absolutely blow away a team low on confidence and start our season well.
  2. I wouldnt be surprised that in a move of sheer desperation the board will give him a year deal on 100k pw thinking it will get the fans back on side.
  3. I honestly thought with the way he left so early he already had something lined up
  4. The way things are going with KP we really could be heading that way.
  5. One of the other things that stood out for me in the article as well was the players resistance to strength and conditioning training? The team has looked unfit for years and its all because the players cant be arsed to earn their money??
  6. Strange timing, lends more evidence to the fact they have absolutely 0 clue what they are doing.
  7. I imagine this lad has saw the Bellinghams pathway and been advised a season in the Championship will do him a lot of good. He wont be here long but this protects us and gets us a good fee down the line.
  8. ‘Best owners in the world’
  9. I think this is actually the key and might see us escape punishment yet again. I can see the rules being changed in extraordinary circumstances to protect Utd and the backdating of those rules will see us ride on their coat tails. The reality is both clubs deserve what they get.
  10. The signs were there when he was calling himself ‘Top’ off the back of his fathers success.
  11. Is there anyone out there that still thinks ‘that theres a player in there’?
  12. This will be like the worst years of Rodgers but x100. The owners will ruin this club.
  13. Its insane that this has been going on for 3 years and we’ve still breached in every set of accounts. We got relegated the first time around because we didnt spend in the summer to comply and delayed sacking Rodgers. We ended up not complying and getting relegated anyway. Yet despite that hard lesson we’ve gone on to fail again? Despite riding our luck with a fortunate technical decision? I cant get my head around why the football club is being run in such a way and who finds it acceptable?
  14. Yeah, i parked it on Sunday when it was time but I dont think its an unreasonable opinion with todays news and now that Sunday has passed.
  15. When allowable losses are 88 million or something like that, 3 million is absolutely going to affect things. If it was Vardy’s decision i’d like to hope he has forgone any wages or bonuses due as he’s effectively decided to stop showing up for work. After todays news we arent in a position to be sentimental we need to get a grip of finances and fast otherwise we face footballing oblivion.
  16. It was extremely obvious from the beginning you just werent allowed to point anything like this out. Still annoyed we are going into a game worth 3 million on Sunday without our best striker because the board were scared of a few boo’s. Shitshow of a club.
  17. Fans won’t protest, not seriously and KP wont go anywhere or make any changes.
  18. Anyone moaning about the rules being ‘retrospectively’ applied needs to give their head a wobble. We all knew this would happen the minute we embarrassed them over a technicality, this has likely been going on a lot longer in private than in public which has given the EFL and Prem a chance to get their ducks in a row.
  19. Its a different one and due to our first challenge the Prem and EFL aligned their rules to ensure they were in place for this next period, likely to catch us out. All we did was kick the can down the road. The punishment is going to be severe.
  20. We knew this was going to happen when we used a technicality to escape punishment the first time. Its a gamble that has well and truly failed to pay off because we are now relegated and have both the EFL and the Prem on our case. &nbsp For the short to mid term as a club we are in big trouble, dont be surprised if we are relegated again next season too.
  21. Fantastic servant to the club, our greatest ever without a shadow of a doubt. Its the start of a new era now and not one i can particularly say i’m excited about. Where ever he ends up next I hope he gets the success he feels he’s still capable of.
  22. wrong thread - KP OUT
  23. The Percy article says he will be on holiday next week…
  24. This reads as if the club are forcing our best striker to miss the last game of the season because they are scared of a few boo’s at full time? Could we be even more unprofessionally run? Interesting that Percy makes the point about financials too which a lot of people were mocking me for yesterday…
  25. I see your point but its not quite the same. We are playing for prize money in which our financial position dictates for the best interests of the club we need to go for, we arent in a position to write that level of money off, we might not even get it but i dont think leaving our best goalscorer out is giving us every chance of setting up for future success. Realistically we’d never get a fee for Vardy and him leaving and coming off the wage bill is a huge help going forwards.
