When Bristol closed us down as we was seeing that game out, I was impressed how we pinged it around them, Rodgers was never able to get us doing that, his dominant runs were when teams sat back in fear, one of the triggers for Rodgers problems was once other teams started closing us down he could never get the players to deal with it. I feel Enzo has been working on this though and seems to have a better understanding of how to play this way. Not sure if we we can ever deal with EPL team's pressing us, it requires a really high calibre of player, and Burnley are showing the problems. But we have improved in this area at least compared to our recent EPL seasons. Even pep had initial issues but luckily he has club owners with a unlimited cheque book to get him the personnel.

I think as long as our keeper stays fit yes, so much difference when she came in.

Ndidi some amazing runs in second half, and KDH was just one touch hitting it into the box not hesitating like Stephy. But in the end we won out, so was good, concerned we dropped back after scoring though but luckily Bristol looked like they would never score from anything just completely hashing any chances they had, which is what happens when for 75 mins of the game you have nothing of the ball. Hopefully Stephy gets more sharp thinking as the season goes on. I think Winks has perhaps been helping Ndidi and KDH with confidence as initially start of season just Winks made the runs, now all three are, and Ricardo some as well.

Would be a 2.625 PPG for the season with 7 out of 8, over the season that would be around 120 points, how often does that happen?

I need to stop watching our games, the games I missed we were scoring more, now I tune in, its back to looking clumsy in the final 3rd, midfield and our own third the play is fine. In final 3rd it needs to be one touch, too many delays.

Not sure why there is so much bashing of preston, I assume this is because they not a leeds, leicester, southampton or a norwich they dont have the right to be where they are so they will drop off, the same as what people were saying about us 9 years ago. Confidence is a huge factor in football, we lacked it last season and got relegated with the most expensive relegated team in history, likewise there has been many teams promoted on a shoestring. Momentum breeds confidence. We also have rode luck to get the points tally we currently have, the arguments to preston equally apply to us. They can drop off, but we can drop off as well, we will both drop off at least to a degree. As we not maintaining a 6 wins out of 7 form for the entire season.

The top two looking solid, and have built a 5 point gap to 4th already with only us hoping to keep pace with them.
