Didnt people say the same about us in our title season. I watched the WBA game and its very easy to see why they up there, they get the ball forward very quickly and their forward players have confidence. They were going to lose at some point.

Results in our favour this weekend. Looking a little more comfy again.

Why would we want him to? People seem to love our players heads getting turned just so they can see a LCFC player in a England shirt for a few games. I couldnt care less about England now days, club always first and I will always prefer it when our players dont get a call up.

The question is I suppose why wasnt we doing that from the kick off.

We definitely scoring much easier now, and so far have more points on the board vs last season, I do think they targeted the right areas. We will be totally outclassed by some teams still, thats just how the women's game has gone.

An argument could be made that we would have let them leave for free by keeping them if we stayed up. Also that its not Everton's fault KP have chosen to delay the stadium works. The reasonable claim is the TV money and loss of advertising revenue.

We were never going to fight at the top of the WSL, a mid or lower mid finish is pretty good for us. Problem with Arsenal is we forced them to go into top gear second half.

Combination of trying to pass it into the net and players hesitiating too much in the final 3rd. Only KDH and Vardy are decisive in their forward play, but KDH is getting marked heavily now so has very little space, and we have nice cut backs getting played but then players arent getting on the end of them. We seem to be also missing Ndidi who was becoming quite the menace. Enzo needs to tell internationals they are "injured" during international break. We also seem to over emphasise the passing element of the game. Man City as an example, they dont slowly pass it from the back to the front, they will it out of danger, then they will either run forward with the ball or do direct decisive passes to the final 3rd quickly, and then the whole team shuffles forward and they have pinned the other team back. This is the modern possession game I just described, Brighton do similar. There is no pure possession game anymore, its a hybrid mix of passing out from the back to get out of danger whilst keeping possession and then direct play to get it forward to score goals.

No, we had spells of possession, but boro looking far more dangerous.

The dithering in final 3rd has been an issue for many games yeah, could have been 2-0 up by now, but boro had some good chances themselves as well.

Feels like we been found out, not played well since last international break in my opinion. Lucky to still be 0-0.

Appreciate the write up, Enzo I hope see's it as a lesson learned though as over time (especially in the EPL) more teams will play this way against us.

I think teapot made good points and I cant find myself getting behind this. To me its simple, we were relegated because we were not good enough, the manager had lost the plot and the owner wasnt on the ball in changing the manager when he had a chance earlier in the season, no if's and but's, we just were not good enough.

I had the stream on, they clearly were expecting straight red calling the player an idiot and were relieved when the ref changed his mind, but of course the assistant had his say and it was red in the end.

Proper test, especially as I think we havent been at our best since the break.

I think we have have the rub of the green over the season, seen multiple games where because we the favourite of the league, we get soft free kicks. Faes lucky to not concede a penalty vs sunderland. If you think its bad this season wait till we back in the EPL as one of the small boys, back to dodgy VAR decisions and the like. Also a EPL PO final, ref in the forest vs huddersfield play off game, huddersfield I wouldnt have faulted them for starting a court case over that, was ridiculous.

They have the advantage the media love them are promoting those clubs like crazy. Always going to be harder for us. I would like to see the club offer free attendance to all season ticket holders and members though.
