He has gotten things wrong and he gave way too much control and patience to Bodgers, but he clearly loves the club and to celebrate one of the biggest moments in his life at the stadium, just confirms that. Thankfully, he has started making correct decisions again and the positivity his family brought to this club, is returning in spades!

I still feel that Scott Parker would have been a better choice.

Considering how awful Preston were against us, that isn't saying much for Ipswich
-
Our previous 2 games were 3-0 and 4-1.

Rotation. All 3 are deserving of a starting spot at the moment. I know stability at the back is the usual go to and forming a solid partnership, but I have confidence that the 3 of them can handle rotation.

He just looks such a decent player whenever I see him. Similar to Fatawu, neither have set the world alight yet, but both just ooze quality and energy. Still early of course but they are two players I would absolutely be excited to take up with us and see how they would do in the Premier League.

I’m loving it and not just because we are winning every week, but also for many other reasons, like no VAR or having to put up with the Big 6 love fest week in week out. Playing different teams and visiting some old school stadiums in a league where money isn’t dripping from every hole. I don’t want to stay here longer than this season but just like our time League 1, I am having fun with it!

The way we are playing at the moment, I just feel super confident we will find ways to win. At half-time tonight, I just knew we had so much more in the tank, and so wasn't worried about not scoring. I think for a team like Stoke to beat us, we would need to make silly individual errors and have everything go against us. It's a nice feeling to feel this confident, and complacency now is the only thing we should guard against. We actually have another gear or two, and so rather than stagnating or having slip-ups, we should kick on and be even better!

Leicester City 3-0 Preston North End - Post Match Thread

Often goes one of two ways when a dominant team plays. The opposition see it as a potential massive scalp and up their game dramatically, or they are intimidated and give a tail between the legs type performance. Definitely felt like we got the latter from Preston tonight. -
Typical winger. Can dazzle or frustrate. Consistency is always unlikely with these types of players.
-
Still one of the best crosses of the ball we have ever had. So glad he still gets to play a part.

Looked sharp for a change. I wonder if he is just destined to be a back-up striker and contribute from the bench. When he is given starts, he invariably struggles and looks off the pace.

Leicester City 3-0 Preston North End - Post Match Thread

I have been pretty shocked how bad the standard is in the Championship. Preston in 3rd looked absolutely doggo tonight. We are winning in style though and you only have to look at Southampton and Leeds, to realise that we are doing things right. -
Jury is still out

Think I have decided he is my new favourite player. Early days, but he is just so damn loveable! Moments before this celebrated tackle, he was clapping crazily to boost Ndidi after his woeful cross. He is bloody great!
-
Moments like that are the only way we know it is actually our Wilf and not a clone
-
Liking KDH's swagger! Seems full of confidence again, after an iffy start to the season
-
I hope Enzo says exactly that to their dugout
-
Our bench will win it

I can see that happening. Vardy still needs to be managed and he is playing his way into form right now. We should play him smartly and the ideal would be to win the game without needing him to come on. I do fear Nacho is still a way off it though. He seems rushed and balls bouncing off him and we haven't seen that lovely turn he does so well when receiving the ball deep. He does that when he is in form. I'd still start him though and hope he begins to show signs of coming to life again. Otherwise, Enzo may start looking to introduce Daka before too long. Nacho has a handful of games left to impress before Daka is tried.

The absolute deal breaker for me is the inability to fully celebrate and enjoy a goal in the moment it is scored. This is one of the best feelings in Football and VAR has killed that in my opinion. I understand the argument of those saying it just needs to be run better, but even run well, there is still that doubt and wait to see if VAR is going to interject the moment a goal is scored. I love the Championship for not having VAR. I doubt we will ever see it taken away now and I am sure the Championship will add it soon, but I hope they may at least consider not relying on it for anything and everything.

Same! I have been really disappointed with Iheanacho. I thought he just needed to start more games and at this level, his finishing would really bag him a lot of goals. Still early of course, but you would have thought he'd take this opportunity to finally be our no.1 striker. I think realistically, Nacho has just a handful more games left to stake his claim as our starting striker. If he continues how he has, then he will quickly find himself 2nd/3rd choice and will go in January or the Summer without making any real impact here, even in the Championship. I am ready for the "I told you so's" if that happens. Only positive and little hope left with Nacho, is that when you finally think you have had enough of him, he catches a little bit of form and scores some important goals and becomes an assist machine. Rare, but does happen! But, as I said, this needs to happen over the next few games or I see Vardy/Daka/Cannon moving ahead of him in Enzo's thinking.

Nacho and Casadei disappointed again. Souttar, Coady and Akgun looked good despite the scoreline. Both Nacho and Casadei need to step up their performances quickly, as they will be rightly pushed behind other players in the pecking order if they don't. They have to earn their starts, and neither have so far.

I have been pretty shocked how poor the Championship standard is so far, and playing Liverpool tonight has just confirmed that huge gap. Luckily, I still feel we have the right Manager and we will invest if we go back up and improve in all areas. Credit to Liverpool, but as others have said, I want us to be fully focussed on the Championship. That is our level right now.
