I sat in my car in the leisure centre car park in Hinckley on Monday night waiting for a woman (other genders are available) took 8 attempts to reverse her Jag into a space. Considering the car has all round sensors and a reversing cam, it became ridiculous. Her starting position was always wrong and she didn't seem able to work it out.

Fundamentally, I find it difficult to disagree. They're not outsourcing any patient facing, clinical roles, it's mainly support and ancillary jobs. I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner. AFAIK it's Serco that has contracts for cleaning and other support services and if the NHS trust finds a contractor that can provide the services at a lower cost, then that's how the free market works. Unfortunately, a change of supplier will entail a change of T's & C's for those employed by the current service provider. I don't believe the Trust has any say in what the terms of employment are under any non NHS provider. So, basically, I can understand the upset and dismay and anger at this, but the people employed by the outside contractor should not expect a "job for life". Such has the NHS changed over the years. Several non clinical roles have been outsourced in the same way some non policing roles have, such as forensic investigations,

You pay for the space whether you use it or not. Why do they need to send an email post match asking why you didn't attend which, unless I've misunderstood, is what the club does? It's a bit like paying for a years parking but getting questioned if you don't park there every week. If I pay for a years bus pass and I don't go to town every day, do I then have to give it back for a refund?

I tend to agree with this. Supporters expect the players to give it their all for 90+ mins. Therefore it seems a bit disingenuous to leave before the final whistle.

IMO they have absolutely no right to know anything about what you do instead of attending a match. Maybe letting the club know ahead of a game but even then, I don't understand. It's your ST, you paid for it. You can use it as often as you can, or not at all. The money is still in the club's bank.

Is this true? I'm not a ST holder and I don't get to go to many games on a single ticket but if it is, that's a bizarre intrusion into your privacy
