  1. And that's an example of the opposite effect that sort of thing can manifest in different people. I consider myself fortunate to have been able, by and large, to manage my life reasonably well. I get angry and frustrated easily, but therapy has helped with managing that. I have had relationship problems and I do tend to turn to alcohol at times. Fortunately I have a very understanding (and forgiving) wife of 38 years and that is a huge benefit. Seems Wallace has that benefit, but who knows what his alter-ego is truly like?
  2. I can vouch for this. I was abused by my father for 2 years when I was 12-14. I was, and still am scarred, but I have managed to overcome/sidestep it and hold down a worthwhile professional job for 35 years. I have never thought "I can do what I like because of what happened to me". I'm not saying I've not been affected. I struggle with attachment and I still suffer anxiety and I have to have a pretty strict routine to get through life. Unfortunately it breaks some people. Some can manage it. Others, not so much. That said, if I was a misogynist, unable to treat women with respect particularly in a work environment, I would expect to be seen as a bit of a problem.
  3. For, albeit early days, that game showed cooper up for his do not lose tactics. He was a snail hiding in a shell because he didn't have the confidence to manage a PL team. Weak and lacking in any leadership personality. At least, based on how the better players performed tonight, they seem to have found a belief in themselves and, for me, that's down to respect for the manager.
  4. Never pick Faes again. Ever
  5. Mostly we have the players. We just had the gorm that was Cooper. Sure there's some that aren't good enough but Cooper was so negative in his team selection and tactics it shows he was lost at this level

  11. At least there seems to be more pressing forward and a desire to get on the front foot in possession. Worrying that the defence is so suspect 8

  20. As well as other suggestions, Have you tried WD40 on the spindle bit? Maybe limescale has built up behind the spindle and is preventing/restricting it from moving. Also if you've forced the wheel to turn it might have taken off some the spindle (assuming it's plastic) and you might need to file the part where the screw grips the spindle so that it's flat enough to secure the screw in place against it. Difficult to explain in words, sorry if it's not much help.
