These new plastic bottle screw caps attached to the bottle. They're a ball ache to screw back on, and on the small bottles of coke etc, just get in the way and poke you in the face when trying to drink from the bottle. I just snap them off. They'll get recycled with the bottle once it's empty. I can't imagine the cost of re-tooling a machine that makes the bottle caps to incorporate something that is pretty much unnecessary.

Why is that "racist"? Maybe it is exactly the sort of thing they would do. As the Russians would do as well, potentially.

My normal driving licence expires in 2025. (You must be the same age as me. ) My LGV class 1 expired 5 years ago. When I used the licence as a form of ID, it was rejected as being out of date. They wouldn't have it that the driving licence for a car was still valid, and it was just the truck licence that had expired. Jobsworths.

I guess the problem would be identifying the bona fide students that broke the rules and those infiltrators hell bent on causing trouble.

They should be banned from taking the exams for violating the rules, evicted from the Uni and refused any claims for compensation or any possibility of taking the exams at a later date.

What is you local, I need to avoid it on my pub crawl of Britain.

I don't get it. People travel for miles to go to the Bicester designer outlet centre. We went a few years back just to see what the fuss was about. It's just a cattle market of people queuing for discounted names and even then they're not that cheap. They even have door staff allowing a certain number of people into the stores, like it's some kind of exclusive club. People are sheep. Never again.

It looks better as they ditched that awful central seating area and made it more of a "street" but it's still the same chain outlets, by and large, just more than just McDonalds, Subway, KFC and another which I can't remember, in the old place It still has a soulless, feel eating on the concourse looking out at mobile phone repairers or doughnut stands as people walk about on their way to Primark, whilst trying to avoid other people walking about on their way to Next. Nah. Not for me.
