  1. I actually agree with you on Family. Their star burned brightly but briefly.
  2. Same in most towns. Certainly in Hinckley. Lane markings on major roads are barely visible. The A5/M69 is a joke.
  3. Clearly you're too young to get the connection
  4. I've had similar comments but peeps here thought I was younger than I am. Not sure what that says about my posts.
  5. Showaddywaddy. Fixed for you Also I believe the original Ron died several years ago but the name carried on for a while as it was so well known. I went there as a child (1965-ish) and I remember sitting on a wooden board laid across the arms of the chair to get me to the right height for the barber.
  6. Are you the driver? Or the rear gunner?
  7. I'm not defending this obnoxious human being, but the "storms out of court" is a bit exaggerated, purposely of course. What the court record shows is that "Mr Trump rose and left the courtroom" rather than "storming out" which suggests throwing a tantrum, kicking his chair over and slamming a few doors after shouting expletives at the prosecution.
  8. Wordle 951 4/6 ⬜⬜🟨⬜⬜ ⬜🟩🟩🟨⬜ 🟩🟩🟩⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  9. Well, hello.
  10. Pogs? Are they the kind of star shaped things that kids used to chuck on the ground to try to get a bigger score than a rival player?
  11. Another one springs to mind @Benguin He used to take me to task over my dislike of the travelling community following several unpleasant encounters with them.
  12. Jealousy and panic are not mental health illnesses, more heightened emotional states. Narcissism is a state of mind where one has no empathy, is self centred and arrogant. Maybe some murderers are narcissists but it is not an excuse in law for a verdict of manslaughter above murder. Many seriously psychopathic offenders eventually end up in secure MH units.
  13. Even though it's Tui. Maybe they share pilots.
  14. Ouch!
  15. Google "youth clubs Leicester" and you'll find there are several. Also many youth "groups" are associated and run by religious groups such as Boy's Brigade (Baptist church) and Boy Scouts who, mainly, are C of E.
  16. This taken from the MIND website: If you are charged with murder and can show that you had an 'abnormality of the mind' when you committed the crime, the court will convict you of manslaughter instead. This could mean less punishment. This is called 'diminished responsibility'. Criminal charges - during your trial - Mind I think you'll find Schizophrenia is an "abnormality of the mind". "Schizophrenia is a serious mental illness that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. People with schizophrenia may seem like they have lost touch with reality". In your first post you state that it was "pretty much proved in court". Is that "beyond all reasonable doubt" or just what you perceive? I'm not condoning or offering to excuse what this man did but your post is a bit narrow minded and IMO, poor and simplistic.
  17. It begs the question as to how her colleagues became suspicious.
  18. Wordle 950 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟨 🟩🟩⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩
  19. Well I know what you'll be doing on Saturday
  20. I have a really irritating habit of clenching and unclenching my jaw all the time. I first became aware of this when I was emergency driving and I put it down to the stress and concentration involved. However I still do it now 3/4 years later and it is really difficult to stop. It annoys the hell out of Mrs P.
  21. Daughter has these in her gaming room. I agree with everything you've said.
  22. Half a litre of an entirely natural alcohol product of your choice. Avoid gin, it will only make you angry and tearful and you don't want that.
  23. So you missed the Ipswich game, then?
  24. Bollocks.
  25. It means they cost a lot of dosh. You must REALLY like looking at birds. Or your neighbours.
