When I was working, we got hundreds of call to people who were suffering MH problems and most lived alone. What I often found was that just having us to talk to and unload, made a big difference to them. Many of the calls were down to loneliness and reluctance to engage with friends and/or family as they didn't think these peoples would understand and might be critical or judgemental. We (and the police, who frequently deal with MH issues) don't judge. On the occasions where we have contacted somebody, a friend or relative, on behalf of the patient, they have been really supportive. Often they say "we never knew about this, he/she never talked to us about it", and they'd be so willing to help. As @wallin1704 has said, don't be afraid of talking. People are more understanding than you might imagine.

We have a few rough sleepers but no one begging on the streets or sleeping in shop doorways. We have had a small group living in tents but they were quickly found temporary accommodation. TBF our homeless support is pretty good. In terms of the shopping centre and the main shopping street, below what residents and visitors might expect.

The world saw that when Trump and Vance tore into him back then. Everyone saw it on every newscast around the world after the event and were "outraged". Being live will change nothing.

It's all a bit Blackburn Rovers for me. Like us with KP and Vichai, they spent big under Jack Walker then he either died and the club was sold or he sold the club and died later. Either way, his financial input and love for Blackburn and football was the driving force for their success. Look what happened subsequently. Blackburn are owned now, I think, by a family who have wealth from owning multiple chicken processing plants. No interest in the club or football in general. Just the bragging rights of owning a football club. Maybe also a way of avoiding tax And now they are no longer the club that had the likes of Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton in their squad. We're on the same trajectory. Owners with no interest in the club other than it being part of some financial shenanigans WRT KP in Thailand. Whatever becomes of us, we should just reflect on and remember the PL title win and the FA cup and the best players we had then. Sadly time moves on and things change. Never again will our little club achieve so much against all the odds. That's not to say we shouldn't be ambitious. Of course we should and we should always strive to be the best we can be. But we have to accept our limitations because of our owners horrendous mistakes and poor judgement. Until KP are gone, we're going nowhere other than where we are now. KP have no vision, no ambition, no plan, no interest.
