Only 3 of us for Christmas Day plus one dog so nothing special. None of us like turkey or goose/duck. So it's an upgraded Sunday dinner for us, roast chicken plus roast beef with extras like pigs in blankets, bread sauce cranberry sauce and home made gravy. Add Christmas crackers and drinking wine at lunchtime and it does us fine. Sadly Christmas has been a difficult time for us over the years for reasons I have spoken about on here before.

Possibly. Maybe also the fact that he didn't stop after hitting the first couple of people and continued to plough on into the crowds with utter disregard for any injuries that his actions could inflict. It's a difficult one, and without insight into sentencing considerations we, the regular Joe, can't really say if it's fair or not.

Watford - Home - Boxing Day 3pm - Anyone going?

OOOOHH! -
And I think you're correct in what you say about Vance, He hasn't the egotistical bullishness of Trump but he is a dedicated follower.

There's not one individual or group of brave and vocal dissidents that are going to stand up against him now (or in the future). There's no realistic challenge to him at all. And the worry is that, if/when he succumbs whilst in power, his VP will take over and be just as dictatorial and nasty. Vance has been chosen for that very reason.

Gone but not forgotten and certainly not the death list

One of my favourites before he passed. But poignant now. -
How do posties get on with these separate letter receptacles that on the wall or outside the gate of gated houses when the opening seems too small to take a large letter or one that says "do not bend".

When I worked in the Air Ambulance charity shop, Christmas cards went on sale at the end of September and the Christmas music started at the end of October and they weren't even recognised songs, just some drivel made by session musicians and singers. Played on a loop for 9 hours. It was dreadful.

The Bradgate in Newtown Linford. Nice enough. Recently had a makeover and a change of management. It's still Everard's so like so many Everard's pubs just .. Meh. It's a shame that a local, well established brewery can't produce really nice varieties of cask ale and a really good pub atmosphere. Everard's kinda reminds me of KP. They've got the means, just not the understanding. It's bland and uninspiring. Pizza's are good though.

I don't get the "landmark" ages like 40, then 60 then retirement, then every decade thereafter someone feels you should "celebrate" being whatever x0 age you get to be.

You do understand the meaning of a Cuckold, I assume. Just in case: Cuckold - Wikipedia

And what about the world class talent that "superior" clubs had? And that might have meant nothing without the right motivation, positivity and man management. CR had that in spades. I believe he was one of those unique inspirational individuals. Who else could have got Andrea Bocelli to Leicester?
-
Absolutely my point. If they cared, they'd have a clue and the motivation.

Correct and he's not a motivational presence. Who would come in that would be, with this bunch? From Cooper, then RvNB now this guy, none of them seem to ever have a happy face. They've all been dull and uninspiring. When you compare these 3 to Claudio Ranieri and his motivational enthusiasm in his best years here, they are mere shadows. You could see it in the way the team performed, they were "in love" with CR and gave all they could because he motivated them and they believed in him.

Do people think The man-baby cares about style of play? He doesn't give a flying Feck about this club. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that he is using us to park money away from Thailand and KP itself. Just who is this Monika person? Was there an interview process? If he had an ounce of loyalty to the club he'd be completely differently involved in pretty much everything we do. He just doesn't care. I imagine he shoves all the responsibility and decision making onto the board and goes along with whatever decisions they come to and obviously that includes the DoF. Back on topic, yes MC hasn't shown he's anything better than Cooper, and he was rank. If anything MC is worse. Cooper had to try to keep us in the PL. But he was so out of his depth as was RvN but this is a league lower and he still doesn't cut it. I was quite enthused when he got appointed. Now, I want this incompetent individual moved out. I'm not going to insult him as some do on here by calling him names but he needs to man up, realise he's in above his skill level and resign. The board or the owners won't be decisive because they're weak and/or disinterested. And he'll keep taking the money. And we'll watch and suffer as a result.
-
Can't afford him. IMO.
-
Appropriate for Christmas.
-
And when he does find out he'll go, "meh, ok", shrug his shoulders and get on with whatever he's fecking about at.
-
Are you serious?
-
Well, not literally

QPR have clearly singled out Thomas as a weak link as all their play is down their right.

I'm quite pleased that Kylie made the Christmas number 1 above Mariah Carey (can't bear her voice or her songs) and Wham. TBH I'm pretty fed up with same old regurgitated and repeated Christmas songs that get churned out over and over every year on every mainstream radio and supermarket "radio" channel.

I'm going to have that on my headstone
