From memory, no. We were all on fairly new P range Vespas. You could ride 'em for hours on end & they'd keep going.
-
No van required ! Just had one minor electrical problem in Germany, probably due to a biblical downpour.
-
Had it for about 7 years now, don't go far on it really. Me & my mates used to all over the UK on Vespas 30/40 years ago. 5 of us even went to Vienna on them in '87. Went through France, Germany & eventually reached Austria. 2 week trip. Great times.

Somewhere like Leeds, probably at Christmas.

The new Port Vale, 150 year anniversary kit is very '70s retro, even the badge is replaced by a simple PVFC design. I like it. I'm sure someone with better IT skills could post it.

It's not his fault he was given a ridiculous contract. Should never had bought him. We have too many bang average player's on big bucks & long contracts, all thanks to Rudkin & his puppet. They are the real problem. The pair of 'em couldn't run a bath.

Mines a '65 Vespa.

Just read it. I'd say it's pretty much spot on

The running/wages paid etc are not coming from one source. The club is very sustainable.

I think keeping our bowler's fit is key. The signs currently aren't great. We can't play 3 or 4 seamers, all bowling low to mid 80mph & expect to compete. Wood, Archer & Stone offer something different, but aren't fit for long enough. -
You’re watching it ?
-
Definitely. On a side note, it’s great to see us doing so well in the 4 day game. l had lost interest in it, as we have been beyond poor recently, became almost laughable. Long may this run of excellent form continue. Even Aggers was waxing lyrically about us on the Test match comm on Thursday !
-
I thought there must’ve been a few 4 wides. Not good either way.
-
Were you not entertained ?
-
Just looked at the statistics, Lancs bowled 30 wides & 14 no balls. That's a lot of easy runs.

I just don’t see the point of playing Zimbabwe at all in this format, but it just seems we’ve said ‘We will grant you 4 days only, take it or leave it’. I’m all for helping out the supposed weaker nations like Zimbabwe, but we could do more by going on a mini tour out there, (l actually saw us play in Zim in the mid 90’s, l don’t think we’ve been back since) & England always take good support .They need help financially, as do The West Indies, Sri Lanka etc. England, India & Australia hold all the cards & have the money, and seem to rarely tour the ‘less favourable’ countries, other than for a brief T20/ODI holiday. -

I know many Test matches often end before day 5, but l find it arrogant that we only offer Zimbabwe a one off, 4 day Test. -
Start watching a bit of local non league football. I love it. It really is taking off. So many people are fed up of being ripped off & treated as customers by Professional Money Grabbers FC.

I don’t think many do think it’s a good move, it’s just where we are as a club. Some still believe we can just select anyone we fancy. We are a shambles & can no longer pick & choose, unfortunately. I no longer have any faith in our Board to go looking for a hidden gem of a Manager, they will take the easy option. Dyche wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest.
-
He may be a yesterday's man, but we are far from being a modern, well organised club.
-
The very fact we appointed Cooper & RvN, says we aren't very good at making good choices. Dyche would make it a hat-trick. I've said it before we are shopping in Primark. Our days of 'pick any decent manager', have long gone. We are a circus of a club, with clowns at the helm. Shambles.
-
Obviously you're undecided then ?
-
Definitely. Haven't had so much interest in the 4 day game for bloody years ! I'm probably a fair weather Foxes fan l guess. About time we showed a bit of grit though tbf.

Kent 70-4, following on. Still 267 behind Glamorgan. Only the weather can save them !

Still lives in the area too, doesn't he ?
