If I can’t make a match I’ll pass my ticket to a friend or family member. I’ve never used the resale platform, if no one has wanted it my seats gone empty. So the ridiculous nature of this system, if I’ve got this right, is that if I wanted to give my mobile ticket to my wife she’d have to pay to become a member so I could forward the ticket up to 5 times. After that I’d have to put it on the resale platform and she’d have to buy a ticket from the club, effectively making the same household pay twice for the same seat???

It’s waffling bullshit, most top flight clubs do this, some even with their academies.

What all the non league and lower league teams should do is to play matches as normal ensuring they get gate receipts and tv coverage. However, they should all agree that any draws and both teams walk off the pitch at 90 minutes. Eventually the competition will grind to a halt as more and more ties become uncompleted.
