My old dog when I was a kid we’d give a tranquilliser about an hour before things would kick off, she’d go behind the settee and sleep for the night, not sure if this is really the right thing to do now-a-days? If it’s good for the dog. Does anyone else do this now?

Thanks, but nope, he’s that stressed that reassuring him is impossible his ears are pricked up, shaking, barking, don’t think he’ll go out later now either for a pee. I think I’ll let the Mrs get up first in the morning.

I guess he’s that scared that he is just listening for them and is hearing them above the music. It’s horrible to see them so distressed, must be awful for you, especially as you dog is ill as well. I get bonfire night and Diwali and new years but yes the rest pisses me off too.

How are people getting on tonight with their pets and the fireworks? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not against fireworks and don’t want to stop people having their fun but my dog is beside himself. How are you getting your pets through it? My dog (border collie) is barking like mad, peeing all over the house, panting and just won’t settle. Each year he has got worse so this year we’ve got him a calming spray which has helped the last couple of nights but tonight is like Beirut and it’s not working, I’ve got classic fm blasting out yet he still seems to hear them. When I was younger we used to tranquillise my dog (another border collie) and she’d sleep through it, I didn’t want to do it with my current dog but it’s seeming like next year it’s the only choice. How does everyone else help their pets cope?

Hard sell I guess, spiders aren’t as bad as people think and do a lot of good in getting rid of a lot of the bugs and flys we all moan about in the summer, really they are our friends. However if you can’t find a taker don’t let her go free just in case you live near me

Yes, if you go back and listen to his interview when he first signed he explains his reasons for coming to Leicester, what he was looking for when he left spurs. He wanted to earn back respect, make his name at a club, much like Kasper did on his dads advice. He had offers to join premier league teams but obviously liked the look of our project the best, it was a big decision for him to drop a league but one he was prepared to make which shows a certain character of the man. I’m glad it’s working out for him.

Parking for Home Games Availability
Vlad the Fox replied to glen parva fox's topic in Leicester City Forum
To be fair I didn’t want to be hanging around after the match on Tuesday so parked closer to town centre about 15/20 minute walk and apart from a bit of tooting in the underpass I was back home in 25 minutes. If I’d have parked at freeman’s common I’d have still been in the car park. And I stayed to clap the players off. -
If I remember correctly it was suggested that we were playing for positions, if we lost it gave us a better draw in the play offs, Little told the players to take their ease off the gas but didn’t mean quite as much as they did.

I once saw a lad about to propose in an airport, was walking past where I was sat as he scuttled in front of her and started to go down on one knee, she sternly told him to “get up” before he’d got his knee down.

Yes, and we couldn’t handle the pressure, I think Albrighton said something along the lines of this isn’t pressure, fighting relegation the previous season was pressure.

I was starting to panic with the lateness of the match thread though. Nearly started one myself just titled match thread and let someone else add the team sheet in a following post
-
Good, because I imagine him as a club mascot trying to do a solemn minutes silence with bowed head and big smiling face when he’s not.
-
Happy fox wins the battle of the match threadsss.

I think the most accurate thing I’ve read about the title race with spurs was from a spurs fan, might have been on the fighting cock, but they summed it up perfectly when they said something along the lines of ‘we weren’t in a race with Leicester, we were just the closest team to them’.

I dunno, I could see dad50 windmilling away in one of these.
-
I can’t leave early as I have my dad in a wheelchair and he insists on staying to the end. It’s all good this season but last year I was tempted to nip off for a pint somewhere and come back for him at full time
-
I was reminded yesterday of how I used to think he would only be any good in a deep lying defence as he pinged the ball around 10 yards outside the stoke box
-
I’m a complete hypocrite when it comes to this in so much as I have no problem with us doing it but hate it when I hear commentators call it a clever foul or pundits say that someone should have been brought down to stop a goal.
-
I looked around at 89 minutes and the majority of fans were still in the ground and no one really leaving, it was when they put up 5 minutes injury time that people started to leave but not as bad as other games. I can understand people getting out early midweek especially with the roadworks.
