  1. Great work by Union FS over the years to get to this point. Already looking forward to next season with the prospect of a decent match day atmosphere as it was starting to get very stale in SK1. I’m already based in SK1 and have completed my application to stay there. Does anyone know how you will be able to choose to move near to other friends in SK1 when tickets go live? Guessing you might be able to do this as a group booking with ST reference numbers?
  2. Agreed. What was this all about with additional ticket checks as well? I asked and one of them said “people from G block are getting confused and going into SK1”. Never seen any real trouble in SK1 but you’d think it was the away end at Millwall with the number of stewards in the block.
  3. After going back to think we perhaps should be patient with Puel in the week, yesterday irritated and embarrassed me so much I really think we need to get a new manager for next season. Firstly the Dragovic issue. A ball playing defender who suits Puel’s possession based tactics and has featured in some of our best performances this season was dropped as soon as Wes was fit again. Put back in again recently and we keep a clean sheet and then dropped again. Why? Iborra again another player that suits his tactics when fit was taken in and out of the team on a regular basis. Why? If he’s so keen on playing this style play the players that suit the system. Early on in his tenure we looked threatening going forward but we’re now looking completely lacklustre. Does Puel have a plan b tactically? It would seem not as he let both our target men go on loan in January. If a manager has only one way to play then again I’m questioning if he’s got the ability to manage in the Premier League. On young players it’s great that he’s giving them a chance, but again I question how he’s gone about it. He’s persisted with Chilwell for a long time even when he’s made lots of mistakes rather than perhaps taking him out for a bit. Choudhury has started the past two games and although making a few mistakes has looked brighter than some of the more experienced players and he drags him off at half time in both games. I’m not sure what message or confidence this gives them and the rest of the team. Finally his overall communication and charisma. He seems to respond with similar answers and tag lines persistently. Is this the language issue? Maybe. But if I’m a player in the dressing room and I’m hearing the same things over and over again I wouldn’t feel inspired. It’s a risk to get rid of him if we don’t have a decent replacement lined up but it’s also a huge risk to keep him, allow him to spend money and this awful run continues.
  4. Lost patience with Puel after today. Persistent questionable team selections, tactics that do not put us on the front foot, lack of balance and players completely out of position. I don’t have faith that he’s got enough about him to make us better next season. We’re more than fortunate to be top half still. Only one man for the job.
  5. Bloody hope not. Betting sponsorships always look and sound horrendous.
  6. Not sure why everyone is looking back with rose tinted glasses so much. The FA cup is still class. Would love it if we won it. For a cup competition the away attendances you get prove that it still has its magic for real supporters whatever people say. Roll on Saturday...up the city.
  7. Cracking day yesterday. Was so nice to see us control the game in Midfield like that and to do it for the majority of the game. Unlike other away games earlier this season where we've been great in patches and awful in others. Think with Dragovic in defence we're able to play more the way Puel sees it. Outstanding to see James getting back to his best. What a man. Thought our away end was excellent as well, loud and positive throughout. All in all one of the best 0-0's I've seen us play in for some time.
  8. Looking for one ticket if anyone has one please DM me.
  9. Hoping he comes good however every time I’ve seen him on the pitch so far he looks unfit (sure he’s put on a few stone since his man city days) and cumbersome on the ball. Doesn’t seem to have that energy and desire that you need in our side. Ultimately isn’t going to displace Vardy right now so he needs to impress when he’s coming off the bench.
  10. Finally back home and in bed. That was one long coach journey but worth every minute. Great gesture by the club and I thought Leuven was a beautiful place. The Stella’s and La Chouffe were flowing as Sweet Caroline rang out. Great to see Uncle Nige looking happy and relaxed and look forward to welcoming their fans here. Well done to Jim and the other supporter liaison guys for organising the rabble and getting us back.
  11. Thought the accommodation might be a little bit more plush but can't complain considering it's free. Looking forward to this! Hair of the dog at the Stella Factory.
  12. In. Looking forward to catching up with Uncle Nige in the home of Stella.
  13. What are the words to the chant that was gathering momentum for lots of the 2nd half today in the tune of Achey Breaky Heart?
