  1. Liked him when he arrived, he was a breath of fresh air and I think he did a great job stabilising/reinvigorating a tired, depressed squad. He also did a good job getting the fans onside. I like the ideas behind his football and it started off well. We were winning comfortably and I think most of us thought that when things finally “clicked” we’d be a force. In all honesty I don’t quite know what happened and even as a “happy clapper” I am happy to admit our football and form has been poor recently. Injuries to Ndidi and Ricardo were massive I think but obviously we can’t blame everything on those. It’s a weird position to be in. We are top of the league with a game in hand and not many games to go. Any single team in the league would swap places with us. We should be happy. I think we’d all have taken this position at the start of the season. But there does seem to be a disconnect. Personally I like him and I’m always a “patient” fan more likely to “given a manager time”. Especially a manager in only his second proper job/season and who has us top of the league. However I’m also aware that many of us were saying the same during Rodger’s tenure and look how that ended. I’d still rather stick with him but I do understand the growing frustrations of some fans.
  2. 2025/16 most stressful by far for me.
  3. Leeds players are fvcking cowards. Ipswich are fvcking shit. Shit. Managers need sacking. They’re so lucky Leicester let them off. Leicester will win every game now.
  4. Touché. 😂
  5. Sounds like the start of bad novel. Millwall A. Tuesday. Rain. Grey. Caffeine headache from one too many teas the day before. Yesterday’s washing taunting me from the sink. Movement would be good. For body and mind. But. Movement hard. These old limbs lose some of their strength each day. The seasons which once filled me with joy now mocking me. Each month marking off another failure. A step closer to death, another to-do list unfulfilled. Millwall A. Tuesday. Where did it all go wrong?
  6. Lots of people also like Simply Red but the masses are often wrong. I disagree with all those people who want him gone. But I suppose that’s the fun of football. It would be boring if we all felt the same. To me it is insane to want a manager gone when you’re top of the league after one of the most depressing relegations ever and with a team that started off broken. Enzo turned the whole thing around. Yes we have an expensive squad for this division but we were in free fall when he came in. If someone said when he was appointed “we’ll be top of the league come April, with a game in hand and a lot of folk will want him sacked” I think we’d all have laughed. I understand the style isn’t for everyone but we’ve scored the second most goals in the league we can’t be as awful as many point out. Not saying you’re wrong by the way, just that I disagree. It’s good that we all have different viewpoints and it may very well be that I’m in the wrong.
  7. I think awful is an overstatement. We’re 9th over the last ten games, 7th over the last 6. That’s not great. It’s certainly not good. But not sure it’s awful. Hopefully we can hold on and finish top. Impersonally think we will.
  8. 😂 ”we’re not doing as badly as some say” = kumbaya There’s a middle ground.
  9. I remember when fans used to enjoy promotion seasons.
  10. In my humble opinion he’s the best player in the league by a distance. At his peak he was genuinely world class.
  11. Tbf his save % is the third best in the league. He’s been all round a very, very good player for us this season and, statistically, one of the best keepers in the league, even just for saves. In terms of distribution, it’s harder to qualify, but I’d wager he’s the best in the league.
  12. Statistically, depending on which site you use, we’ve created the first or second most good chances in the league so far this season?
  13. I’m so baffled as to why anyone wants him to leave?
  14. We haven’t even regained top spot. We had a game in hand. We’ve been top all season. All we did today was increase our lead.
  15. Someone said they thought it was pretentious so I stopped 😂 I’m nothing if not easily manipulated. X
  16. I actually quit the forum (in my head). I haven’t commented for months. I made a stance after having posts deleted for calling out homophobic posts and was fed up with the state of the admin on here. I expected an avalanche of messages begging me to come back. I expected some sort of protest to get the admins to apologise and to crown me king of the forum. Months I waited. And you know what? No one even realised I’d gone. So I’ve crawled back with my tail between my legs. I’ve sold out. I’ve thrown my morals out the window. Welcome back you bunch of twats.
  17. Agreed. Let’s not forget to criticise and shame a young player after a fantastic win. Always important to focus on the negatives.
  18. Foxestalk when Ipswich score late - “such heart, such teamwork. Twice the team we are”. Foxestalk when Leeds score late “Ruthless. Never say die. Proper players, not like our cowards”. Foxestalk when we score late “We’re so lucky, should have wrapped it up earlier. Daka is a cvnt”.
  19. Like, obviously I’m being slightly obnoxious and I do understand people being frustrated with letting the lead crumble but, aye, it’s mental. Has the joy from football just gone? IF we get promoted (and I know it’s still an if) this will have to be the most depressing promotion in the history of football.
  20. Leicester fans when we’re top of the league with a game in hand.
  21. I know people are allowed to moan and I know we really have spaffed a huuuuge lead but, when games played are equal, we have been top ALL SEASON. The amount of negativity on here is proper mental health problems. I can’t remember a team doing so well and being so poorly received by a proportion of this forum. I’m gonna try and enjoy the rest of the season. Fvck it.
  22. I mean I always hate us, I’m a bitter little man. Just more than usual this season. This forum must be one of the most depressing promotion pushing forums of all time.
  23. Never, in the history of supporting Leicester, have I felt such bile. Such utter gut wrenching bile and hatred towards our own fans as I do this season.
