I’d stick Daka up top alongside Vardy. Ruud seems intent on just rolling out the same 4-2-3-1 formation with the odd personnel change behind Vardy, and hoping for ‘improvement in the important moments’. It just ain’t working. We don’t have the players to change the team, so we need to change the shape. No doubt we will see the Soumare/Winks midfield again, which for 6 games now has proven its not working. We didn’t think Soumare was good enough for the Championship, yet he seems Ruud’s first name on the sheet and has coincided with our worst run of the season.

Ruud is onto a hiding to nothing. Everything behind the scenes is failing and Ruud doesn’t have the tools to compete. Its tragic, but from when Top took over everything has been undone and we now don’t have any residual quality or operation from the golden era his dad built.

Been thinking for a while now, Top needs to sell up and leave. Seems nothing at the club is functioning. We’ve been desperate for reinforcements and have only signed a squad fullback, too late to play today, half way through January. We should have had signings ready to go. Scouting, recruitment, coaching, squad building, planning, everything has gone backwards. His father knew how to build success but Top just doesn’t have the same business ability.
