  1. Not that I think this will happen, but hypothetically, if we ended the season on 8 points, after a 10 point deduction, does this still count as breaking Derby's lowest points record, as technically we'd have gained 18 points?
  2. Anywhere from 17th upwards
  3. Apart from maybe playing each week, I'm not sure going to a Championship club on loan will necessarily help his development as he's already done that at PNE in 2022/23 season. It's a difficult one, will he get game time here, is he good enough for the Prem. In the few appearances where he started I though he showed promise. He could be a player that is too good for the Championship, but not quite good enough for the Prem. However, he is still young and he may develop into a decent striker. If Leicester decide he is to be loaned out to a Championship club, I hope it's one where they create plenty of chance. Burnley might be a decent option as Kompany plays a similar style to us (providing he's still there).
  4. Away kit only £25 in store now
  5. Christ - They're playing Fire now.
  6. The problem with letting Vestergaard go is no one passes the ball better from defence. The only person who may be able to make that role their own could be Doyle. He's a little faster (not much) than Vesty and has a good range of passing. He certainly ain't a left back or a wide centre half. Be interesting to see if we go back in for another loan as a purchase seems unlikely in our current situation..
  7. Not had a 0 - 0 all season - that's tempting fate.
  8. Perhaps you're correct, but I will come back to you on Saturday night if we win
  9. I'm optimistic. Think they'll want the 100 points. Day off today or just light work today (hangover recovery) Proper training sessions on Thursday and Friday, ready for Saturday. Think there could be quite a few goals, as Blackburn need a win to be sure of staying up.
  10. Udders need a 15 goal swing to stay up, Not going to happen. They're down
  11. Best ref in the football league, including Prem
  12. Perhaps people take success for granted after 10 wonderful years. Whether you like it or not, as a club, it is unlikely that kind of success can be sustained over a longer period unless we are backed by an oil rich state. I'm with you though, I've been through the awful times and I never thought that 10 years ago we would have achieved so much over the next 10 years. Hopefully, the next few years we have more stability and begin to develop again into a top half Premier League side.
  13. Good job he's not had a serious injury as I'm not sure anyone else can play that role well within the current squad.
  14. But Leeds will still have something to play for, irrespective if Ipswich win tonight.
  15. Think this highly unlikely, as Martin has suggested that he is likely to play an under strength side as to not risk injuries for the play offs.
  16. Yes, I seem to recall now you mention it - tragic. You don't expect to not come home from something you love going to.
  17. Was it the last time we were promoted, that we also relegated Doncaster and Dickov on the last day and achieved 100+ points? Same scenario with Blackburn!
  18. Thinking of up to 4 loan signings, would like us to consider the following James McAtee Flynn Downes Fabio Carvalho + a fast centre half (help me out please)
  19. I wouldn't read to much into him not playing many 90 minutes this season as there are reasons for this. After coming back to Inter from a successful loan season, he doesn't fit the system their coach plays (a bit like Vestergaard for us last season), plus he decided to have the operation that was scheduled for the Summer to remove a metal pin from his foot, done early, to enable him to be ready for pre season.
  20. I don't know - this is what I'm trying to seek clarification on!
  21. What are the regulations on loans in the Premier League - I thought you were only allowed two in match day squads? Can you have more than this?
  22. The players bonding together again and looking like they care.
  23. Cov down to 10 men - want Blackburn to win as they'll then be safe before next Saturday.
  24. I tried to hear you out and I kind of understand your thinking, but I would find it hard to digest him in a Leicester shirt again after his antics pushing for the Chelsea move. I'd prefer players with hunger and desire to be here, unfortunately I can't see Fofana's ego allowing that.
  25. What I have seen this year are players up for the fight. I'd like us to sign players with that attitude, players with something to prove. We don't have to spend stupid money and wages on prima donna's. There are plenty of players out there that with the right coaching can be bought relatively cheaply or are out of contract. With the right application and that team ethic that won us the Premier League, I'm hopeful of a season where we can compete with two thirds of the teams in the League.
