We're not even close to pre-season. Some just have no patience or they refuse to see the bigger picture. No idea! I would just be amazed (and horrified) if Steve Cooper is the first choice.

No. I think he's the cheap option. I think he's the easy option to get rid of when it goes tits up. I think he's the option that's miles down the list of preferred candidates. I think the Forest ties will be baggage that we can't afford. I think the he starts with the impossible task of having to win fans over as well as the points deduction. I think his style of play is a total contrast to what we were told the club wants and how we've played the last 12 months. I think the players we have will not fit his style of play. I have nothing against the bloke and I wish him well. I just think we're going to start the season horribly and we'll be sacking him by October because I do not see him succeeding and I do not see the club wanting to make someone like him at the heart of the rebuild we desperately need. This is a short term cheap signing until we go down. Signing Steve Cooper just proves the board doesn't have the slightest idea what they want or what they're doing. I really do believe that.

I appreciate the club wants to get on with it but the next manager is a massive decision. If Potter is the man we want to build the club around then Potter is the man we need to wait for. If we're not willing too wait then that tells me we either don't have a long term plan or that we think we're bigger than we are.

I saw someone earlier on twitter say that the highest price was 72 quid. I assumed that it was for posh seats. Not sure who this club thinks we are. Taking out wild underperformance on the pitch on us fans while those that have caused it still hang out of Tops arse. disgraceful for hiding it alongside the prem fixture release as well. They know full well what they’re doing.
