The Vardy we signed is better than current Daka.

I cancelled it as soon as the news broke. It's a nice thing to have but I don't use it nearly enough to justify it.

He doesn't need to be a goal machine to be a better option than Daka. Daka has one goal in his last 47 games for us. I would expect those figures from a reserve left back. There's absolutely no way that he can be our best option. We'd be better off playing someone like Mavididi or Reid up front. He plays like he's wearing jeans and doc martens. I've never seen a player so poor technically in a Leicester shirt. Every attack dies the moment he gets near the ball. Give Carranza the chance to show what he can do because neither Daka or Ayew are good enough to be starting games at this level. We know that as a certainty.

Not having the obligation could really bite us on the arse. He's got it all and anyone would take a player like that for the price. Goalscoring box to box midfielder for £5m? We won't get him if we don't go up.

For me it would be; 1. World Cup Final. 2. The Ashes. 3. Ryder Cup. 4. Superbowl. 5. Tour De France. Quite a large gap between 3rd and 4th and I can honestly say i've never watched a single second of the Tour De France.

He inflicts his style of play on any squad regardless of quality or technique. He thinks he's managing Barcelona. It would be a disaster to appoint someone like that.

We lose so much with him in the team due to the fact he has the technical ability of a toddler. Yes he's the only striker we have that wants to run around but **** me 99 times out of 100 an attack breaks down the second he's given the ball. We're bad enough at getting the ball up the pitch and keeping it there as it is, adding Daka to the mix makes in near impossible. It's that desperate here that i'd sooner they either played Bobby, Page or Ramsey in a sort of false 9 role or just took the hit and gave Evans or Richards a whirl.

I don't think there's a single reason for Daka to be starting games for us. I doubt BDCR will start again. I would imagine that Ramsey starts and Bobby comes on for him for the last half hour or so.

What frustrates me is that one mistake from a young defender like Nelson or Okoli leads to them being ostracised for months yet Faes and Vestergaard routinely get away with murder without consequence. We should allow the young players the chance to make mistakes and learn from them because it's blindingly obvious that the so-called experienced defenders never, ever learn. If Nelson dives in like Faes did against WBA or if he's outmuscled by someone that's 5 foot **** all like Vestergaard was against Wrexham then he'd never play again.

Mike Stowell had it right on the When Youre Smiling pod. The midfielders get the ball and play it backwards. The striker drops into the pocket with his back to goal and stands on the toes of the 10. The 10 never sees the ball. The wingers get the ball and cut inside. They don't use space well at all. It's the opposite of the Maresca system.

I think that the training ground/academy will be the only thing stopping this from being a reality but it wouldn't surprise me if we get to a point where the training ground has to be sold to keep the club afloat at some stage with the way things are going.

Agreed. In 2023/24 Abdul obliterated the Championship record for big chances created. He managed to make 32 in 2,828 minutes. A big chance every 88 minutes. This season he's made 1 big chance in 679 minutes. The drop off in terms of creativity is massive.

They bought him so we aren't paying anything. I'd imagine he's taken a pay cut but it'll be interesting to know how much of a paycut. I'm pretty sure PSR doesn't account for time spent in League 1 so they've got a free hit at it this year really.
