They've got 17 games between now and the FA Cup 3rd Round. Given that includes an international break, Palace have a game every roughly every 3.5 days.
-
They're being forced into making changes for one of their games through no fault of their own. The schedule is totally stupid and is harming the game. The spectacle is worse for paying fans too.

Exclusive Screening Of Abdul Fatawu Documentary At King Power Stadium
AKCJ replied to davieG's topic in Leicester City Forum
Just read an article saying there were 500 people there last night. If you were one of them.... have a bit of shame. -
He's not a number 10, he doesn't have anything to prove to us, no resale value, massive wages, never fit, dodgy attitude and he takes the position of probably the only good player we have. Yes. He is rubbish.

The 25/26 Stat Topic - “Statistically Terrible, Visually Even Worse”
AKCJ replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
If we look at the goals we've scored, it's no wonder our results have dropped. The only goals we've scored from open play that don't go into the "screamer" category or were handed to us by a defensive error are the Monga goal against PNE, the Ricardo goals against Birmingham and Oxford, the James goal against Wrexham and the Ramsey goal against Portsmouth. 5 goals in 12 games in sustainable methods (not a screamer or handed to us on a plate by a defensive mistake). Chance creation is non-existent. When we were last in the Championship Fatawu, KDH and Mavididi created a combined 63 big chances in our 46 games. That translates to about 1.4 big chances per game. This season, the only players to have registered more than 1 big chance created in the league for us are El Khannouss (3 big chances in 2 games), Ayew (3 in 11), Fatawu (2 in 9) and Choudhury (2 in 8). -
Couldn't be further from what we need.

There aren't 21,578 potential burgers, pints, shirts, scarves or programmes being bought for one. Shows solidarity against Chansiri. The entire fanbase (and the vast majority of the staff at the club) wanted him out. Raises awareness for other teams that might not know about what has been going on there. Especially in this world where apparently only the Premier League matters. It's all a big "**** you" to Chansiri and if there's one thing that nepo babies don't like it's being told they're doing a bad job. We're in the same situation with Aiyawatt who is a narcissist and negligent.
-
If he said yes then I was gonna offer to sell him some magic beans.
-
Draws are positive for a relegation threatened side. Obviously they're not good for us but look how Wrexham, Portsmouth and Oxford celebrated draws against us.
-
I don't know what point you're making but the relegation threatened sides would love to have 2 defeats in 10. We will not go down. We're shit and miles off where we should be but still well ahead of the sides that are going down.

Susan wasn't hounded out by the fans. Rudkin turned or her and there's only ever one winner in that boardroom when you upset the golden boy. Whelan was one of the few we had with an ounce of common sense. Clearly she wasn't without her own mistakes and she isn't from a football background but she's an intelligent woman with integrity. Everything the man baby isn't. Aiywatt's family have kicked him out of King Power for being incompetent but now he's running the show here.
-
I agree but it's not going to happen and there's absolutely no point in waiting for him to do something he isn't going to do. Aiyawatt needs to sell up and the new owner needs to immediately sack Rudkin if we want to have any hope of getting back to being a club that competes for the silverware and European football. It is clear to anyone but Aiywatt that Rudkin is not fit for the job. Obviously those two have a relationship beyond work considering Rudkin is seemingly first in line for every single promotion or opportunity despite a decade of incompetence and it's clear that Aiywatt thinks a lot of Rudkin but the fact that he hasn't been moved into a non-decision making role in terms of football just shows that Aiyawatt isn't just an idiot, he's stubborn too. He won't correct his mistakes or apologise for them because he's not man enough to do so. He's a spoilt little man child that's only ever had everything he's ever wanted and he's completely tarnished his family's reputation as far as Leicester City is concerned. He's nothing compared to his old man.

No, I don't think we can. We don't lose enough games for this to happen. A Leicester fan knows more than most that anything can happen in football. We won the league when it was impossible to do so and we got relegated when it was impossible to do so. However, this league is god awful. We are a little over a quarter of the way through the season and we're 8 points clear of the relegation zone. While I would expect Sheffield United and Norwich to improve, the stats show that Blackburn, Derby and Wrexham will very likely regress. Plus one relegation spot is virtually guaranteed with Sheffield Wednesday. It would take a substantial points deduction to get us near a relegation (I think we should survive even with a 20 point deduction). I think we'll place somewhere between 12th and 18 but I think we'll end up with enough wins/draws that would ordinarily see us get something between 4th and 8th. It'll be a points deduction that keeps us in this league.

QPR and WBA are the two in the top half with a negative goal difference. They're 3 points clear from 15th and in their last match they lost to Derby with 1 shot on target. Long way to go. I think they'll finish bang in mid table. Expected goals has them 13th.

Coventry – 69 shots on target, 34 goals scored – 0.49 goals per shot on target Derby – 33 shots, 13 goals – 0.39 QPR – 42 shots, 15 goals – 0.36 PNE – 43 shots, 15 goals – 0.35 Midlesbrough – 47 shots, 16 goals – 0.34 Bristol City – 59 shots, 20 goals – 0.34 Hull – 59 shots, 20 goals – 0.34 Ipswich – 51 shots, 17 goals – 0.33 Wrexham – 49 shots, 16 goals – 0.33 Millwall – 44 shots, 14 goals – 0.32 Birmingham – 35 shots, 11 goals – 0.31 Swansea – 39 shots, 12 goals – 0.31 Oxford – 44 shots, 13 goals – 0.30 WBA – 43 shots, 12 goals – 0.28 Leicester – 55 shots, 15 goals – 0.27 Charlton – 52 shots, 14 goals – 0.27 Stoke – 50 shots, 13 goals – 0.26 Sheffield Utd – 36 shots, 9 goals – 0.25 Watford – 57 shots, 14 goals – 0.25 Portsmouth – 41 shots, 10 goals – 0.24 Sheffield Wed – 44 shots, 10 goals – 0.23 Southampton – 60 shots, 13 goals – 0.22 Blackburn – 51 shots, 10 goals – 0.20 Norwich – 44 shots, 8 goals – 0.18

Liam Manning (Norwich) - Doing a horrendous job. Ryan Mason (WBA) - Probably middle of the road. Exactly what everyone would have expected. Some good results and some bad. Paula Pezzolano (Watford) - Already sacked. Sergei Jakirovic (Hull) - Shaky start but they've recovered well. He's doing a good job. Will Still (Southampton) - Real nightmare there to be honest but I think we're on the same path. Gerhard Struber (Bristol City) - Doing really well and playing exciting football. Rob Edwards (Middlesbrough) - Exceeding expectations quite dramatically. Ruben Selles (Sheffield Utd) - Absolute disaster. Already sacked. Julian Stephan (QPR) - Similar to Ryan Mason at WBA but more positive. Henrik Pedersen (Sheffield Wednesday) - Probably doing better than anyone would have expected but they're still rock bottom and would still be there without the points deduction. To answer your second question. Hilariously, the only one that comes to mind is Russell Martin at Southampton. They were 15th after 8 games and an awful pre-season but then went on a 22 game unbeaten run. Unfortunately for them they were against 3 of the best sides the Championship has ever had and would otherwise have likely gone up automatically.
-
It won't be an option we could afford. Two years ago Brighton wanted nigh-on 100m for this lad. It's time we got serious about signing a long term striker.
-
This was the attendance for Sheffield Wednesday vs Middlesbrough. Barely anyone in the home ends.
-
Do you believe that there were 21,578 people at that game?

I just don't see the benefit or adding non-goalscoring strikers to this team. Would much rather sign a player on the up. I don't see why we should spend 6 months playing another team's striker into form. We need someone to come here, be our player and immediately start scoring goals on a consistent basis. It's a big ask but that's life under Aiyawatt. We're desperate now.

One goal since November 2023 by the way.

I would rather play the underperforming Mavididi to try and get him back into form and let Monga impact games off the bench. I don't think Monga has impressed much when starting but that's to be expected with someone his age. -

We're in a serious mess. I can't name a starting 11 that i'd be happy with. I don't think there's a single player outside of Jordan James that doesn't have a really big question mark next to their name at the minute and even with him I think there's a fitness concern.
