  1. Couldn't disagree more!
  2. Is that correct? I thought that they were reduced in League 1.
  3. It's one thing to be going cap in hand to Macquarie when we've got parachute payments coming but what happens when that stops? If we're in League 1 when they start asking for their money back then it'll be asset stripping time. Best believe it'll happen too. We'll end up back at Belvoir Drive with a Cat 3 academy with the likes of Monga, Evans, Page etc all having been sold for peanuts to Big 6 clubs and we won't own the stadium (which will be called something like The Pukka Pie Stadium). We'll be back to the days of signing Gabor Bori, Josh Low and Darren Kenton.
  4. I've watched the last two home games in person and we absolutely were not playing a high line.
  5. Have we really been playing a high line though? QPR were offside once and Bristol were offside twice.
  6. 0.14% of Todd Boehly's net worth. I'm sure he's had more expensive nights out.
  7. I completely get where you're coming from but ultimately, our squad is divided up like this. Take out the teenagers and this is how our squad looks. Goalkeepers - 3 - Stolarczyk, Begovic, Vietes Defensive Fullbacks - 3 - Choudhury, Thomas, Kristiansen Attacking Fullbacks - 1 - Ricardo Centre Halves - 5 - Nelson, Okoli, Vestergaard, Souttar, Lascelles Defensive Midfielders - 1 - Skipp Box-To-Box - 3 - James, Winks, Aribo Attacking Midfielders - 2 - Decordova-Reid, Ramsey Wingers - 2 - Fatawu, Mavididi Strikers - 2 - Daka, Ayew The squad is genuinely atrocious. It's so imbalanced and full of shit characters on massive sums of money that simply do not care. I do not see how you can put together a viable 11 in any real way other than 4-2-3-1 that doesn't lead to massive issues. The failure to sign a fullback and a striker in January has meant we can only set up in one meaningful way. It's meant we're extremely predictable.
  8. I see today it was Jordan James' turn. https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/leicester-city-lcfc-queens-park-rangers-sky-bet-championship-jordan-james-interview Before him it was Skipp. https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/leicester-city-lcfc-queens-park-rangers-qpr-sky-bet-championship-preview-oliver-skipp Before him it was LAscelles https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/jamaal-lascelles-leicester-city-lcfc-bristol-city-preview-championship Before him it was Daka https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/ipswich-town-itfc-leicester-city-lcfc-sky-bet-championship-patson-daka Before him it was Mukasa https://www.lcfc.com/pages/en/media-article/divine-mukasa-leicester-city-ipswich-town-championship-preview
  9. Lost 4 of our last 5 home games. Lost 1 of our last 5 away games.
  10. Stolarcyzk Ricardo Lascelles Vestergaard Thomas Skipp James Fatawu Mukasa Mavididi Daka
  11. 100%. They're getting by with individual quality. Only really Arsenal and Villa have played to more than the sum of their parts this season amongst the teams that would have genuinely targeted a top 8 finish. It feels like it's been a collectively poor season for most teams of those teams.
  12. Really do not understand supposed Leicester fans claiming they want Forest to stay up. Yes it would be funny to see Spurs go down but it will be infinitely funnier to see Forest go down.
  13. Half way through Ayewstorm but it's got legs. Ayew Top marks for not trying So kind of you to bless us With your lack of effort You're hateful and so incompetent. And I wonder Are you taking the club under 'Cause we don't get the gist Of the no goal or assist combination Well, see you later, innovator Some want to punch, some want to kick you There's not a net that you could score through Or at least that's the impression I get 'Cause you never break sweat And you're not aware yet But you're poor. You'll be saying, "Scuse me Show me Seagrave's jacuzzi" I imagine you always fill up your plate You are so overweight
  14. Things I would get rid of; That pre-match montage that has about 2 seconds worth of history of the club pre-King Power. The light shows. The fire cannon things. "Honesty flags". "City Beats" - Just about the most "how do you do fellow kids" thing I have ever seen. "Your Leicester City Side" Fan Cam. The thousands of adverts for Thai products and BC Game. The dreadful sound system. All of it takes away from any sort of natural atmosphere or excitement. The only two things they do right are playing Club Foot and When You're Smiling.
  15. The young lass that does the social media couldn't wait to run onto the pitch to record her videos for TikTok at the final whistle.
  16. You've misunderstood me. We do press better than with Ayew but we still don't press well with Daka. He will charge down the odd fullback playing the ball up the line to give away a throw in and people think that makes him a great presser. I don't have figures to back it up but how many times has Patson Daka ever forced a mistake that has lead to a shot this season? I would wager that it's less than 3. He presses like a headless chicken and experienced defenders see him coming a mile off. The problem is that he looks like Carlos Tevez in comparison to Jordan Ayew.
  17. 54th best return in the league, you'll never sing that. Only 80 grand a week and supposedly in the prime years of his career by the way
  18. I'm not saying that I wouldn't rather play Daka ahead of Ayew. Of course I would. I'm just pointing out that all Daka offers over Ayew is that he runs around a bit and that you could play Patson for the entire season and we'd still be in this mess because he's clearly very, very shit and he offers very little. The failure to sign a striker in January may well be the final nail in the coffin.
  19. Which part? I know you're the leading member and founder of the Patson Daka fan club but the lad's football ability is absolutely shocking and his headless chicken approach to pressing rarely amounts to anything. His style of pressing is just running directly at the ball as fast as he can and see what happens.
  20. Is 0.38 goals and assists per game really acceptable though? It surely would put him amongst the very worst strikers in the league.
  21. I'd be surprised if Rowett doesn't go for the experience of Vestergaard and Lascelles for the rest of the season now.
  22. Does he though? He doesn't score goals, he doesn't create goals, attacks break down when he has the ball, we can never set up an effective press with him in the side (because he doesn't think about what he's doing), he's weak, doesn't win headers and is no where near as fast as people claim him to be. Accepting the bare minimum because the alternative is worse is why we're in this mess. We know for a fact that we're not getting anything other than a bit of mindless pressing with Daka. We ought to at least have given someone like Otchere or Hutchinson a go by now but the problem is that it's not fair to throw a young lad in at the deep end. Every side plays to the strengths of their striker yet that's impossible for us because our strikers are dog shit with no strengths whatsoever outside of Daka's willingness to run around like a headless chicken. The problem with that is that you can't play Daka with wingers like Mavididi and Fatawu because they are unwilling to join in with a press.
  23. We shouldn't forget that Patson Daka is thoroughly ****ing shit too. Plus he's on one of the biggest wages in EFL history. But the bloke will run about a bit.
  24. There have been plenty of examples of a player having a horrible injury followed by a season riddled with injuries and then reverting back to being quite injury free. Look at the likes of Justin and Ricardo for us. Signing the lad without a pre-season was such an obvious mistake.
