I’ve only seen the highlights from today, so I can’t really add comments. Wolves xG was always better than what they’ve shown. I don’t think conceding a significant number of shots like we have been, was going to be successful going forward. Hermansen is a generational goalkeeper and he’s kept the score down. Ward isn’t at that level and the 22/23 appears to have broken him. He looks devoid of confidence. I’m not sure who RVN picks today by the way, as the squad is ravaged and average at best. However Buonanotte should be one of the first names on the team sheet.

I guess when you look at Boxecom and see the figures, it’s clear that Usyk was the far busier fighter. Usyk was also potentially losing some rounds then came back with a flurry of punches toward the end. If the judges have seen it like that, then maybe the scores could have been wider. I’d maybe got it as a draw at best for Fury. Neither men looked like they wanted to engage like the Fisher / Allen fight. Furys game plan didn’t work. Usyk just kept going like a swarm of bees and he just keeps landing those scoring punches. Usyk is a generational talent. Especially for someone that picked up boxing so late.

Usyk will fight and beat the winner of Dubois / Parker. Fury and AJ might fight. 3 of them should then retire!
