We can’t conceding the amount of shots on goal that we have done. Hermansen has kept us in games, as he’s going to be an elite level keeper. Whilst I’m not as big a critic of others of Ward, he is nowhere near at that level of Hermansen. I also think if Wolves click, similar to Crystal Palace, they’ll be a better team than they are currently showing. We also can’t face the number of shots we did against Newcastle / West Ham. The thing is, when we had him, you could tell he’d got potential. We wanted to see him used more. He’s been great for Atlanta. However he’s been playing as a centre forward. We’d have never have played him there.

He’s biggest challenge is that he doesn’t transcend from one side of his goal to the other quickly enough. Which makes his positioning look average at best. His actual agility from a stationary position is okay really. He won’t make saves where he has to move from the near post, so the far post and then dive. Excellent goalkeepers do this. Also people saying he’s the worst goalkeeper we’ve ever had either only started supporting us post title win, or can’t remember the days of Hamer, Ricardo, Douglas, or even Kalacs howlers against WBA!

They’re all just trying to compete to get Premier League money. In reality, if they want it, let them form it themselves with teams from Italy, Portugal and Spain. Germany didn’t want it. Years ago, teams would go for years without playing each other! The games were bigger then, than they are now. A Real Madrid Vs Juventus game would feel special as they’d play each other once in a European cup every 4 years. Each season, may as well be watching Barca Vs Madrid, or Milan Vs Inter.

The younger generation aren’t as interested in watching football as it is now. I keep saying it, the TikTok generation will prefer to watch goals, skills and back to back games like basketball. Not a boring 0-0 played out. The Premier League is the current Super League. The Kings League with professional players is the future. If the Premier League did something of that ilk now and streamed it on Netflix, it would draw in Millions of people to watch it.
