  1. Yes, it’s a definite change in approach. Kasey tucking in as well. It’s almost back to a counter attacking style, releasing Vardy on the counter.
  2. Ouch, Vardy nearly again.
  3. The space in front of the defence looks compact.
  4. Anyone else’s Amazon keep dropping out?
  5. That ….. could be onside.
  6. 1-0 ….. or VAR?
  7. How do you knock these up so quickly?!?
  8. It’s the role he had at Lille basically.
  9. He’s basically gone for a solid back 4, then a double pivot destroyers. The key will be one turnover in transition to counter attack. Kasey I think offers a higher work rate than Mavididi, hence why he’s been given a chance. It’s a gritty, no frills line up to be honest. It’ll grind results out, rather than be flashy. I see the sense in what he’s gone with.
  10. Protecting that defence Its like when we played them with that Midfield two of Mendy and Ndidi
  11. He’s just a different type of bad compared to Faes.
  12. His England team. Whilst not the most successful in my lifetime, is always the one that I enjoyed the most. The performance (5-1) against Germany in 2001 is still amongst my most favourite games of football ever. The documentary is a brilliant watch.
  13. Scenes when he bags a hat-trick
  14. I don’t play so well In the wet, or extreme heat. I quite like a mild, fairly warm degree 19:00 kick off.
  15. With Leicester on Amazon Prime tonight, I just signed in and noticed they have a documentary on Sven. He comes across as a good bloke, especially when he reflects.
  16. Potter, Heskey and Nolan are doing the Amazon Prime coverage.
  17. I’ve heard a rumour, that for game round 21, the premier league are trying some new rules.

  19. This - 100% Simple math says that as long as the stadium is above 25,000, they’ll be happy. If attendances drop too much, then it’ll start to impact concessions sales of food, half and half scarves, programs etc. So they still need a decent footfall through the stadium. They’ll roughly know by demographic what everyone is spending extra on each section. So if block A is a £10 ticket but spends an extra £30 on food, drinks and a filbert the fox every game. That’s worse than just charging block B £50. And they spend nothing. It’ll all be modelled and they are in business to make money for King Power ultimately. We should be honoured they let us into their stadium to watch the mighty King Power FC.
  20. The difference is even if the attendance drops looking at average ticket prices: 32,000 @ £15 - £480,000 20,000 @ £30 - £600,000 They’re better keeping it higher from their point of view, even if they don’t fill the ground.
  21. We can only loan two players from the Premier League
  22. https://www.footballinsider247.com/evan-ferguson-to-leicester-orourke-on-huge-signing/ Leicester City have been backed to land the “huge” signing of Brighton’s Evan Ferguson in the January transfer window, sources have told Football Insider. Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke explained that working under Ruud van Nistelrooy would be a “great opportunity” for the forward to develop his game. This comes after Football Insider exclusively revealed on 22 November that the 20-year-old wants to leave Brighton in search of first-team football. Sources say there is still work to be done before a move to Leicester is on the cards, but Ferguson is keen to make the move with the promise of increased playing time. The Foxes view the Ireland international as a potentially pivotal player in their fight to stay in the Premier League as they want to add quality in forward areas. However, Brighton are yet to decide on whether they will accept loan bids in the January transfer window, but could be open to offers. Leicester are keen to add to their squad in the January transfer window to assist Van Nistelrooy and boost their chances of survival. There is recognition that, while they have scored goals so far this season, there is still too much reliance on 37-year-old Jamie Vardy to lead the line. The potential loan move would allow the Foxes legend more opportunities to rest, as well as providing the opportunity to play the two together as a partnership. Ferguson is keen to remain in the Premier League and would welcome the possibility to become a key player at Leicester, as well as the chance to learn from both Van Nistelrooy and Vardy. He has played just 269 minutes of club football across ten appearances in league and cup this term, scoring one goal. Fulham are also said to be keeping a close eye on his situation, but the Foxes are keen to beat off rivals in their attempts to land the striker in January.

I thought this when I read it this morning. Basically, the POTUS can do what he likes on his way out. It’s a bit like when Bill Clinton pardoned his half brother for drug smuggling.
  24. I still think this sort of thing is pointless. As long as the ground is largely full, they’ll continue to push tickets prices up. They might twig at some point that trying to flog kits at £80 a pop isn’t the way forward though, as half the world have twigged you can pick one up from DHGate for £8.99. Also, who in the world is buying King Power FC clobber?
