  1. I always thought it was John Burridge! https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Burridge Props to Big Trev!
  2. Give it Kate Abdo, Thierry Henry and Micah Richards until the end of the season.
  3. I don’t think we’ve had anyone that drops into the intelligence category, as well as they do the others. Is take arguments for Izzet, Fuchs, Cambiasso, Tielemans, Lennon or Maddison. I remain so conflicted on Tielemans and Maddison though.
  4. I’d twigged after I’d responded in fairness, as someone else mentioned Mancini Maldini in his prime ticks a lot of those boxes! Just not as a Leicester player. He might get in this current defence at his age now though
  5. Pearson was also sacked and re-instated on a Sunday.
  6. Rodgers - 2nd April 23 - Sunday Puel - 24th February 19 - Wednesday Shakespeare - 17th October 17 - Tuesday Ranieri - 23rd February 17 - Thursday Pearson - 30th June 15 - Tuesday Eriksson - 24th October 11 - Monday Sousa - 1st October 10 - Friday Pearson - 29th June 10 - Tuesday
  7. Did I miss when Maldini played for us?!?
  8. 1) Technique - Mahrez 2) Mindset - Morgan 3) Intelligence - Maddison 4) Physicality - Kante 5) Team Player - Vardy If I could have Vardy twice, it’d be in Mindset as well. Your perfect footballer is made up of Vardy, Mahrez and Kante. All three could have played for any team in the world that season.
  9. The world needs to chill a little bit and we could re-hash 1996 - 1999 Soccer AM. A quarter of the country would want to cancel it, however a live “edgy” show in that format would appeal to certain people. Maybe not the the BBC. I’d love to watch the Meltdown though
  10. He’s our greatest ever player in my opinion. I think we are starting to see what the post Vardy era might look like now.
  11. I’d entertain arguments for Kante, Fuchs, Tielemans, Simpson, Okazaki and Schmeichel. Vichai clearly was brilliant as an owner but did weird shit like parading flags around the pitch.
  12. You couldn’t pay me £40 to go and watch Coopers football
  13. Vardy Mahrez Morgan Albrighton
  14. Sadly, I’m not far off myself. It’s just football in general.
  15. The really left field one that I don’t think anyone has mentioned is maybe Bo Jimmy Thelin at Aberdeen. He's done wonders with them and had a good record before he arrived in Scotland. Level with Celtic and nine points in front of Rangers after eleven games I think.
  16. I think Moyes wants the Scotland job doesn’t he?
  17. Smith needed more time. He’d have bored us to sleep but potentially kept us up given more time I think. Sacking Rodgers without a plan was crazy. The reality is they left it to long …… about 12 months (at least)! I can see them doing the same with Cooper.
  18. I think he hits the peak of his career on his debut with that Hatrick against Bury.
  19. You’d have taken that performance rather than the one Dean Smith dished out when we battered 5-3 I think someone above got Puel right. I respect him for the way he handled himself and the club, during the period of time with the accident and Vichai passing. He was as dull as dishwater.
  20. Aston Villa are sniffing around a January loan apparently.
  21. Yes, I always like the program Kamara and Ben Shepard did on Sunday morning I think it was, similar in a way discussing the games and a bit of a guest to talk along with.
  22. I guess, if the world ran on the same currency, same time zones etc, agreed on some worldwide laws for ethical trading standards etc, would we see some of the issues we do now. Maybe not.
  23. The root cause of most evil, I’d say relate to religion, or thirst for power. Money is a by-product of power. Having money doesn’t make the world go round, it can however improve the ride. Like @Izzy alluded along the lines of, a lot can be made for the saying “Health before Wealth”. I mean, old Jeff from Amazon isn’t a war mongering loonie and he seems to be fairly well off. I could see Elon generating the first Terminator though.
  24. I think the mood of Foxestalk, doesn’t translate to the fans within the stadium. I’d say your typical Foxestalk poster, is potential more invested in the football club. Sue and Frank, who’ve smuggled in a flask of soup and some sandwiches wrapped in foil, aren’t on the internet at 23:33, questioning Steve Cooper tactics and whether he’s the correct person for the job. The stadium doesn’t hold the same atmosphere as a Goodison Park. Our fan base is a different demographic.
  25. Puel to me, was just boring. No real personality, maybe the language barrier didn’t help. I don’t think he made bad decisions that crippled us like you could accusation against a Taylor, or a Rodgers. Puel like Pearson really, laid some solid foundations for what was to come.
